River City Inn Jacksonville

A basic hotel room-definitely not fancy! Not the best location in Jax. Road construction & run down neighborhood. We checked in late & had to walk in the dark to the back side of the hotel to get into our room. A little nerve racking when the door key didn't work on the first few tries. Continental breakfast was a bust as they were out of coffee. Morning front desk staff was friendly & apologetic.

Checked in after 10pm ... staff was very nice. room was clean and beds were comfy. There's a lot of road construction going on around the hotel, so having to go past the hotel and make a u-turn was kind of a nuisance. The only other thing was there was water on the floor in the bathroom from either the tub or toilet, but maintenance was called right away. Other than that, great stay!

The machines were out of order. No working ice machine on our floor. The snack machine was also broken. The staff was very friendly and nice.

Friendly service at check in, room was clean and in order. No surprises, just a pleasant clean room at a decent price.

the hotel is in a business district. not a spot to vacation in. the rooms were clean,the beds were comfortable. the staff was friendly.

The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel would probably be ideal for an overnight stay or two night stay. The surrounding neighborhood was somewhat questionable, although we did not have problems. However, when traveling with young children, a higher rate of security would be much better. The room itself was OK; but we've stayed in rooms more comfortable with nicer amenities/options than this.

Plenty of resturants with in walking distance. Shopping centers very close by. The room was very clean and smelled very good. The motel also had a washer and dryer which made our trip more plesent. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we was taking care of. Plenty of lights was on the grounds which made us feel safe and comfortable.
