hotel was fine, facilities as described. value for money, just not really in the location described ie mayo area

Several fiends and family meet at the hotel for a girll's weekend which included a comedy play at a local dinner theatre, dinning at some unique little cafes and just hanging out. We were impressed from the moment we drove into the parking lot which was clean and nicely landscaped. As we entered the lobby, we found it to be clean, bright and inviting. The staff was great and were eager to answer any questions we had about the surrounding area. We were delighted to learn that we were very close to many interesting attractions and wonderful resturants in Jacksonville. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The pool was indoor and outdoor an there was a nice hot tub as well. There was also a work out room, but we didn't use it. I can't rate the breakfast because we were lazy and did not make it downstairs in time. We all agree that we will choose this hotel on our next venture.

Pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness & cleanliness of the room. We arrived at 10:30 PM, tired & hoping for a decent hotel & room. We were checked in within 5 minutes & off to the room. The parking was well lit and the motel & room appeared newly remodeled-very clean! Several nice restaurants within walking distance. Very good free buffet breakfast which saved the two of us around $15.00 at a restaurant. Nice pool & hot tub, & exercise room with up to date equipment. I was so impressed with the value & quality of the hotel that I will make it a point to find another Wyndham hotel for my next stay. I will definitely stay at this same hotel the next time I'm in the Jacksonville area! They also have a shuttle bus leaving every 1/2 hour during the day to the Mayo Clinic Med Center which is just 5 minutes away.

This was my second stay at the motel and the level of helpfulness was deeply appreciated. Thanks for making my somewhat strenuous health issues more bearable.

I appreciated having the shuttle. Was there only one night,however, will be returning in December for a longer stay and will probably book in with you all again....

This hotel is perfect for someone going back and forth to the Mayo complex. Parking at Mayo means a long walk so the SHUTTLE is a blessing. Breakfast had hot scrambled eggs and bacon, as well as make your own waffles and the other standards. This is the preferred way to start your day. The room with an ottoman for tired feet and a desk, refigerator, microwave and coffee maker made for a comfortable refuge after a tiring day. It was a great location because there's a Starbucks, a Ruby Tuesday restaurant, Publix supermarket and a Chinese takeout all next door

Hotel and staff exceeded our expectations. Basic shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Use free shuttle to Mayo Clinic. Easy auto access to additional shopping, restaurants, and beach.

This hotel is not bad for the price. It was clean and was what you would expect for an average hotel. I would recommend the stay if your not looking for all the extras.

Very good experience. Room was clean and spacious. Lots of toiletries that were high quality (Neutrogina). On Saturday, while we were away, there was a sprinkler leak on the top floor which flooded some of the lower floors. Everything was cleaned up and the management had posted letters in our room apologizing for any inconvenience (there was none for us). Breakfast was great. It tasted good and was hot. Highly recommend this hotel. It was my first experience in a Wingate and I'll come back.
