Missing All!

Staff not educated. NO WI-Fi as advertised and no staff member could fix the problem. Only excuses. Security plain out missing. My 18 year old son and his girlfriend approached in spa by drug addicts who tried to get them to leave with them to where they lived. These people were not even hotel guests. Room service food out right horrid. I stayed at the Radison in Virginia. This Radison is a slap in the face to all. Soda machine on our floor broken into. I reported it. Not a person that should have did. Dryer $1.00. You need three to get close to your clothes being dry.

Well worth it

We were quite please at our stay at the Radisson. The room was very comfortable and roomy. We especially liked having a parlor aside from the bedroom so we could entertain. We liked the idea that all rooms faced the ocean and had a great view. Access to the beach was easy and the staff were all courteous. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

Avoid the Steak House on the A1, the service was poor and the meal was inconsistent for the money.

Beautiful view

Location is perfect, rooms are adequate. We stayed during a rainstorm and unfortunately all of the rooms were soaking wet. Had to move to new room after 1st night, 2nd room had wet carpet too. I would think an oceanside hotel in Florida would be better waterproofed. Other than that, staff dealt with it well. Sometimes long wait for elevators and limited food menu. If not for all the water, we would stay here again.

Summer Vacation

Our stay was great. As a matter of fact we extended our stay two days because we liked it so much. This was our second time to stay at this hotel. We stayed there two years ago. Our experience both times were great. Every room is ocean front which is a plus. We enjoy getting up early and watching the sun rise. This year we were always looking to see if turtles had laid their eggs in the night. Every monring there were new nest right infront of our room. Also close to Port Canaveral, where we have chartered a fishing trip for the last four years. Also, this year we visited Kennedy Space Center.

Unbeatable location for the price!

My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay. We did charter a fishing trip one day and visited the Kennedy Space Center. We enjoyed everything. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice. We had dinner there one night. The food was very good. We had dessert another night. We have stayed at this hotel before and will do so again. The beach is nice and not crowded. Every morning we got up early to see if turtles had been on the beach. They were laying their eggs right in front of our room. We enjoyed that, too.

Very Nice Hotel

Stayed a Radisson during visit to FIT. Very nice area. Chairs are available to rent to sit on the beach, felt this should be included for hotel guests. Nice pool area. Room was very nice and easily accomodated the 3 of us. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I Would NOT Recommend!

We're currently guests at this hotel, and within 24 hours of check-in, I already wish we could go elsewhere. This is what I get for pre-paying. Unlike a lot of negative reviews, I'm not going to be petty about ridiculous things like the restaurant was too small, the toast was burnt, etc. I honestly hope this review will assist you in making your next hotel reservation. I'll start off with the 'pros', because they are very few in comparison to the 'cons'. PROS: - If you're traveling with a family, the private bedroom is nice. - Minor 'kitchen' amenities, (sink, microwave, refrigerator) in the suite are great for extended stay. - Staff seems nice. - It is right on the beach, easy ocean access. (Unless there's a wedding going on.) - Albeit the restaurant is small, they do a decent breakfast buffet with plenty of choices for the whole family. There was no discount for a child, so be prepared to pay $8.95/person for the whole family, plus an extra $2.25+/piece for a beverage. For 3 of us, (a 9 year old included) our breakfast bill exceeded $40. Kind of steep for breakfast. CONS: - 2 elevators for the entire hotel. Be prepared to wait up to 15 minutes at a time, as one of the elevators has gotten stuck at least twice. - Poor water pressure. - Rooms are outdated, slight mildew smell, and there aren't many hotel amenities. There's one restaurant with a very limited menu, no complimentary breakfast/coffee like most other hotels offer, no towels at pool, etc. - Small bathrooms. Bad choice if you have small children and need extra room to move. You definitely can't fit more than one person in the bathroom. - 9 floors tried, not one vending machine worked. SUMMARY: Within 24 hours of checking in, we were stuck waiting for the elevator for 15 minutes, because one was stuck on the 14 floor. (Or so we heard.) Within 10 minutes of entering our room, my husband discovered a clogged toilet. The hotel's idea of 'hospitality' was dropping a plunger off at our door and telling us to handle it ourselves, because "Maintenance goes off duty at 10pm." Wow! Good thing it didn't overflow! Guess we'd have been down on our hands and knees. We tried to order a movie, and the sound didn't work. No surprise, but we were told to, "Watch something else" by the front desk clerk. Apparently an outside company handles that. Last, make sure you ask if there is a beach wedding before you book your stay here. An attempt to access the beach at 7pm yeilded blocked doors, no beach access, and the pool/bar area overtaken by a wedding party. The only beach access would require you walking THROUGH the wedding reception and ceremony. Plus, even if you found your way down to the beach, a large portion of the hotel beach area was overtaken for the ceremony. So much for the beach being public! The pool area and bar was swarming with wedding guests, so you couldn't access the bar, and certainly wouldn't consider going for a dip with an entire wedding party surrounding you - even if you could maneuver your way through the crowd. I finally did talk to the front desk clerk about this, as those sharing the elevator with us shared the same frustration being denied beach access. His response? "This is Radisson, it's what we do. We have weddings here." My response? "I managed hotels and golf courses for the largest chain in the country for 6 years. I oversaw hundreds of weddings, and never once did it interfere with our other guests." He insisted they can't keep you from the beach, however an attempt outside didn't yeild the same response. And as it hits nearly 9pm, we now have the luxury of the blaring DJ and music until all hours of the night for the reception. Lovely! Conclusion? Other properties clearly care less about maximizing their revenue at the expense of their current guests. Keep that in mind before you consider making a reservation here. I highly recommend the Hilton next door, which is where we'll be staying next time.
