Stayed there the night before leaving on a cruise and the night we got back from the cruise. Bed was very comfortable and room spacious and very nice. We had a balcony and a beautiful view of the harbor both nights. The staff was very nice. The only thing we would have liked was a small refrigerator in the room so we could keep our drinks cool. The refrigerator they have is stocked with their drinks that will be charged to your bill if used.

Beautiful hotel, poor staff attitude

We stayed at the Viceroy this past weekend and enjoyed the hotel's baseline amenities including a beautiful pool area and spa. Unfortunately the staff were a bit rude at times and seemed to be nicer to richer-appearing customers. The only available parking is an incompetent Valet company which charges $36 a day. And they lost my car one morning and made me wait 30 minutes! Bottom line: It's a really nice hotel, but you don't fully get what you pay for in customer service...

Overall, the experience was nice but I was displeased that the place did not have a business center. I needed to take care of some work and could not. They had a lap top but you could only use it in the lobby--not an ideal place to take care of business.

The staff is very helpful...was given a key to aroom when entering the room we noticed that the room was already being used by someone else...Oooops!!! Was given an upgrade to make up for the mistake....Got beach front view room....The view from the room was great.....The hotel is a 2 minute walk to Ocean Drive!!!! The only problem to me was that there was construction on floors 8 and above....The lower floors are also in great need of remodeling....I'm sure that once all the renovations are done the hotle will be beautiful. I would come back to visit in the future...

Aside from a closer beach location, this location was pretty good for the area. The room was a bit cramped, but still served its purpose. The outdoor lounge area was great! Parking was very convenient. The exercise facility was good, although the water supply could have been more. The breakfast options were great, especially for all four of our children. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Ideal 5 mins in a taxi (15 dollars) or the free shuttle bus (which goes every 30 mins) from Miami airport. Everything you need from an airport hotel. Clean comfortable beds and good sound proofing. We ate across the road in a small Italian excellent. Breakfast in the hotel was standard. All on paper plates which always lets America down in the quality stakes but seems unavoidable!

Hotel in general is well kept. Lunch at the hotel's restaurant was good. Rooms are spacious, clean and confortable, same as the bathroom. The only issue is that rooms or some of them can be a little bit noisy (you can hear some voices and noises coming from the outside and it is likely others can hear you when you are inside your room). Pool is pretty small. Location is very convenient if you want to stay close to the airport and the free shuttle is a plus.

For our purpose it was convenient. This inn is ok for a one or two night stay. Air had only two settings, hot and freezing. It is an old an tired inn. Wouldn`t stay there again.

Close to Miami International Airport

This hotel has a speedy airport pickup, we called them and the shuttle arrived within 15-20min. The return shuttle to the airport departs on the hour. The first two nights we had a room by the pool, the hotel is older but it has been maintained and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was fairly quiet (keep in mind this property is accross the highway from MIA-you will hear aircraft). The pool and garden area were well maintained and we always had plenty of parking.
There is a gas station next door, which was nice since we needed to top off the rental car before returning it. Four places to eat within walking distance-the hotel also gave a list of reputable food delivery. On our return trip we did have several small problems which were compounded by the fact that the staff were unable to correct some of them. We did talk to the front desk staff and they reduced our room rate to compensate. We would stay here again.

This hotel is a total waste of money!!! The rooms were nasty. Dirty yellow walls markings, dusty floors, cleaning supplies were left in the closet, no amenities at all, and they charge 20 buck to park 1 night!!! I left my car parked in front of the lobby while i checked in and was able to get access card for parking. I come outside to the front and the hotel put a warning sticker to tow my car!! Where do they expect customers to park while they check in and get the parking access card....on the "no parking" street???? Horrible horrible experience wish I had went with my first choice at Hyatt instead!

The location of the condo is great! However, upon arrival we were not able to find the person who was supposed to check us in; we had to 'call' him on his phone! When we finally did reach him he said he'd meet us at check in time; at 3pm we go to check in and he is not there once again. We didn't get into our room until after 4. The place was not cleaned (dusty, hair in the tub, etc.); had broken shades (not blinds but shades); no towels; no toilet paper; no toiletries; broken garbage disposal that smelled horrible; nasty dishwasher; broken ice maker (we had no ice the entire week); only a few, and non-matching dishes and pots; grossly stained pillows; and to top it off, management was very rude and unresponsive. Also, anyone considering this, there is an additional holding fee of $200 that is not mentioned prior to booking the room. The price may be right, but the stay isn't!

The hotel decor is very contemporary and elegant. State-of-the-art appliances in the fully equipped kitchen for those, like myself, that need to cook healthy meals. But the breakfast buffet is also complimentary to get your day started. The staff was very professional and friendly. Parking is $15 per day, but at least you know you're safe...so it's a positive trade off. I definitely have this one on my "favorites" list for whenever I need to be in Miami...conveniently super close to the airport too.

This hotel is beautiful. Great for a small family to share and prepare meals. Rooms were fully equipped with cable tv, internet access, and own bathrooms; and cleaned daily. Kitchen needed a skillet, but otherwise great. Hotel did not allow or offer early check-in. [...] Day staff were friendly but evening staff not very accomodating---seemed iritated when guests asked for anything extra. I'd book here again, but would also check for other locations near the bay/beach.

When we got to the hotel they were doing complimentary wine hour so we came just on time LOL. We had club level access so we had private concierge which was lovely in regards to check-in/out. The hotel is very chic/upscale and we were able to do alot of activities right on the resort.

We went to miami for the Miami Ironman 70.3 and the staff placed bananas, gatorade, water, granola bars and apples in the lobby at 5 AM for the participating athletes. Now that is fantastic customer service!

For the price, it was decent. The A/C unit is extremely loud and the walls are super thin.I travel quite a bit and have been at worse hotels. Also, to be a non-smoking hotel there was a lot going on. I would stay there again, if the price is right.

Good choice for cruisers

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Bayside as it was close to the port with shopping and restaurants across the street. There is also a drug store for last minute purchases a block away. The room after the cruise was much larger than the one we had prior to the cruise with more amenities. The beds are really comfortable and we would definitely stay at this this hotel on our next cruise. Liked the short taxi drive to the port.

The staff of LaQuinta went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They even made several photocopies for me and did not charge me! The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Free parking. On the negative side, the hotel is vaguely entering the realm of shabby. It may be time for a face lift.

We stayed at the Hilton at the end of a week of cruising. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay. The check in could have been better though, we arrived there after noon but could not get into the room until well after 3 which was a drag because we were not dressed to even enjoy the pool. We ended up having to walk quite a ways away to find a place to eat since we did not want to have an expensive lunch. Other than that it was a great place to end our vacation.

I booked the room just for one night given that the hotel advertise in its website that it has "non stop shuttle to the airport" . when called to advise that I wa sgoing to be waiting for the shuttle around 1:00 am. Rude girl (big attitude) on the phone said , It was not going to be possible, last shuttle is at 12:30, so you will need to get a cab and pay it.
Extremly poor customer servise, very dissapointed. I stayed in other red roofs before but now, i will think twice before staying in one.

Location is great, just down street from airport, blocks from freeways and downtown. Nice amenities, with nice fitness equipment. Wireless a bit sketchy at times, and only one operating laundry room for whole building. Had to remind staff a few times about empty laundry soap dispenser. Also, no room service menu in room, so have to go down to diner and look menu over and order from there, otherwise, regular room service. Nice HD LCD TVs. however, no TV guides in rooms.

This hotel has a great location. However, it's NOT clean, the carpets are really dirty. Two steps on that carpet and your feet are all dark. And there are insects in the rooms.

I like the hotel its location is perfect and safe,
the food at restaurant for lunch and dinner es graet,but breakfast is to poor.
the receptionist they don.t have warm wellcome and facilities for the guest need to improve in this sides.

Although the location to Miami airport was ideal, to say the stay was bad would be an understatement. We must have been booked in the older part of this hotel.
Carpet was very old and worn, mattress was torn, heat/ac had no grill over the vent, a 2x4 board holding the bathroom sink up and no hot water(after running for 15 mins. or so.) There was a part of this hotel near the pool and lobby area which appeared very nice and am sure would have better accomadations.
