Courtyard by Marriott Miami West/FL Turnpike

could not locate hotel @ firts , had to call hotel for directions . once i got in the hotel was greated with politeness and kindness , when i got to the room it was very inviting , very comfotable king size , very clean , very neat overall ,had a pleasent stay @this hotel and would recomend to my freinds and fam.

The experience was excellent. All my needs were attended too and they made me feel special. The location was not to far out from the city only 10 minutes away from the Dolphin Mall and nice restaurants.They even provide washer and dryer on the first floor for when an accident happen, like my grandson running out clean cloth, they provide detergent at the front desk, "Tide" that was very convenient. Thank you for the good experience.

I stayed here to avoid the expensive hotels nearer the beach for my trip to Miami. The hotel was very nice, too nice for the price at first thought. The reason for the pricing dawned on me a little later. While the hotel is beautiful and very comfortable, it is an oasis in the middle of nowhere. It is built in what looks like a retention pond from the construction of the FL turnpike. It is also quite a distance from the beach (thats my fault for taking their word for it and not mapping it myself). The surroundings, remoteness, and distance from the beach legitimized the price. Long story short, it is a very nice hotel with nice staff in the middle of nowhere. As long as you have a car, you will still have a lot of fun in the Miami area.

The soda machine didn't work, after all the available room service was closed. It was a great experince overall.

Fantastic amenities and very modern decor. The entire facility was extremely clean and very comfortable. Marriott spared no expense. Rooms have wifi access for free and you can get a Starbucks coffee in the lobby bistro! It does not get much better than that! This is definitely my new spot when I visit Miami!

The hotel itself was very nice. Pretty swanky, I thought. Nice decor. Brand new. Very clean. I was just there for a couple of days for family stuff, NOT to experience Miami. My Miami-based relatives did refer to the location as "out in the boonies." However, it was very close to the turnpike and if the location is not a problem for you, I definitely recommend it. If you are looking to hang out on South Beach, you might not like spending so much time in the car. I get the sense that combined with the traffic that might be an issue. We were able to make it to and from the airport in about 30 minutes, when there wasn't much traffic. The staff at The Bistro (and in the rest of the hotel) were very friendly. The menu, at least when I was there, wasn't very extensive, but I found something I liked a lot (the tart apple salad). I was able to plunk down to eat in front of the big TV. They had smaller TVs in booths (and of course the option for no TVs at all, like a regular meal). The pool seemed nice but I just hung out in the whirlpool for a little bit, which was really nice. There was a touch screen you could play with in the lobby. The gym was pretty small, two treadmills and two bikes, I think.
