Good location
The hotel is conveniently located near MIA. Our room was very clean. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was tasty and priced in line with other hotels in the area.

The Latin Cafe across the street is a great restaurant and much better than room service. A must go for hotel stayers.

Okay hotel for the price
The hose in the shower didn't work right and the floor felt dirty. The patio was perfect though, straight out to the garden deck and right next to the pool ramp.

Convenient location and comfort
Hotel in general is well kept. Lunch at the hotel's restaurant was good. Rooms are spacious, clean and confortable, same as the bathroom. The only issue is that rooms or some of them can be a little bit noisy (you can hear some voices and noises coming from the outside and it is likely others can hear you when you are inside your room). Pool is pretty small. Location is very convenient if you want to stay close to the airport and the free shuttle is a plus.

Pricey elegance!
The staff was accommodating, the room was comfortable but disappointment occurred after the Dolphin Mall shuttle picked up passengers at the hotel and charged $10 per person to return to the hotel. The information online stated complimentary shuttle service. A 15% service charge was expensive to dine in the on-site restaurant. This was a very expensive week getaway that wasn't expected. However, this experience proves there is always a price when traveling to a city like the MIA!! Bring plenty of CASH!!

convenient and quiet location
I stayed at Crowne Plaza Hotel, during a business trip. The staff at the Business Center was extremely accommodating to our needs. The food was good and the bartender very friendly. Overall, a quite place. I will recommend it to my colleagues.

Perfect location for Airport & Cruises
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, hotel room was clean and comfortable. Flights can be noisy when going overhead but they don't fly late at night and you can't hear them with windows closed. Restaurant next door 'Fresh Catch' was very good but unfortunately we had a terrible server. Latin Cafe across the street was excellent for breakfast and lunch. Dolphin Mall is great for foreigners but not necessarily for those living in the states.

Taxi to the Miami port is only about 24.00 for all 4 of us. The hotel offers free service to and from the airport!

Boat Show Visitor
Fair enough
Visited the Miami Boat Show. Short enough drive to the venues. The bed was very comfortable and the linens fresh and clean. My only complaint about the room: the wall-mounted lamps had been replaced by standing lamps but the holes (though small) were left unfinished. The upstairs lobby walls near the elevators were scratched and looked like they had been that way for a while. Just seemed like those details indicated a lack of overall concern. Otherwise clean. There was mild noise from the airplanes at the nearby airport. Bad if you're a very light sleeper - otherwise not a problem. For the money it could have been better but hotels are high in this area, so clean and decent were good enough under the circumstances. In other cities, better hotels have had very nice free breakfast buffets. This one did not. No refridgerator in basic room, maybe in others.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Make reservations to dine at South Beach restaurants, in season, that is. Can't vouch for out-of-season table availability. Can probably eat more reasonably elsewhere, though. Short drive to Little Havana restaurants.

Between Days in the Air
The hotel was fine. We had a very nice dinner in their restaurant and a pleasant breakfast buffet (included) the following morning. The only problem was that their shuttle system for getting you at the Miami airport seems to be run by a bunch of (colorful comparisons suppressed!) We were passed repeatedly by Marriott busses, no bus driver seemed to know where the hotel was, since he belonged to some "other" Marriott, and it took nearly an hour to get picked up! In all fairness, though, the trip back to the airport the next morning was done with reasonable efficiency. Another point: In this era of easy access to the internet, they charge $15. per night to use you laptop in the room. It is free in the rest of the US.!
