Reasonable Value for Miami
Decently-priced hotel for the expensive Miami market. Overall this is an adequate hotel in a good location related to the airport. Nothing special but served its purpose. The staff gets high marks for courtesy. Rooms were adequate and clean, but older and in need of renovation. The continental breakfast was good.

La Rosa Restaurant is an incredible, authentic Cuban restaurant in close driving distance to this hotel. Dont miss it while you're in town.

Pre-cruise Stay
The hotel stay, overall, was just fine. The kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast had many options. We primarily chose this hotel for the free shuttle to port of miami but when we checked in we were told the shuttle was full. It would have been nice to know that we could have called the hotel and put our name on the shuttle before check-in. So, we had to pay for a taxi. We would have stayed elsewhere knowing we'd have to pay for a taxi anyway.

Being nice goes a long way!!!
One of the things I really appreciated was the fact that there is a shuttle to the hotel. I arrived in Miami late in the evening and it was nice not to have to deal with a taxi. The driver was very pleasant and helpful which is important after a tiring flight.

Bed so comfortable for one night stay-0ver
Enroute to the cruise ship, La Quinta Miami East provided a very reasonable value with a very comfortable bed and transportation from the airport and to the cruise ship. Breakfast too! I would stay again for a night if I was in transit...

a very nice hotel
a very nice hotel. we always choose LQ all around USA when it is nearby during our trip. the quality is very consistant with all chain LQ hotels where we stayed. recommend.

Alone and hungry
clean and safe
For one night near the airport, this hotel is great for the price. As a single woman traveling alone, safety and cleanliness are important to me. The only drawback is that there is no restaurant there nor within walking distance (ok by cab) - they stick a lot of fliers for pizza-type places under your door and you order delivery to the hotel. A bit odd, but I ordered out and had a sandwich delivered.

Very good!!!!
The hotel is great, just in front of the airport. The only thing I didn´t like was the smoke smell. I asked for a non smoke room and they gave it to me but the aisle and the elevator had a strong smoke smell that went into the room
