This hotel is a No Smoking Property. Credit card is required upon check-in. No cash deposits are accepted. The hotel will authorize your credit card at check in for up to $100 per night of stay in addition to nightly room rate. Please understand that if you are using a Check Card, this authorization will limit your card use for up to 10 days or until your issuing bank releases the authorization hold.
Resort fee is $15 plus tax per night payable at property and includes airport pick up from Miami International Airport, complimentary bike rental, and complimentary wi-fi.
Please be advised, our airport shuttle's last pickup from Miami International Airport is 6pm on 12/31/11. Due to Miami Beach bridge scheduled closures, we are unable to retrieve guests after this time. We of course begin our normal schedule the following day, 1/1/12.Tradewinds Apartment Hotel Rooms

Unexpected stay
My husband and me ended up getting stuck in Miami for a few days and scrambled to find a place. This hotel was very reasonably priced and located in the middle of the action so we chose it. The room was very roomy and clean. The bed was super comfy. We lucked out with parking and found a free spot but beware the parking is sparce everywhere on the island. Really, you don't need a car. There is a bike rental right around the corner. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

one bedroom apartment with full kitchen and modern interior design. comfortable bed, large screen TV. laundry facilities. pool. located a block away from the beach. we had a lovely time. did our own shopping at the local supermarket nearby. you can decide if you want them to come and clean fthe room or not. there is free internet access and a possibitlity to get a free shuttle to the airport and back. the gardening around the premisiss is especially well cared for and clean

Awesome
Me and my girlfriend had the extended stay studio. Felt like we had our own home. Few clubs down the street, some good some just plain ehh. Everything was in walking distance. Everything in the studio was included, such as fridge, stove, microwave, pans, pots, spoons, plates, everything! Can't wait to go back this summer!

Long walk from hotel
Best clubs I would say in Miami South Beach are a good LONG walk from this hotel. Especially for women who complain about their heels like my girlfriend. Take a cab, worth the money and not expensive at all!

The hotel is nicely decorated. There was no parking. 20 dollars a night and the parking was full. Housekeeping did not give wash clothes. The microwave only worked for five minutes, there is not phone in the room. Stay somewhere else for a little bit more money.

Mature married couple
Great time...but don't pre-order the SuperShuttle!
Tradewinds was perfect for us (married, no kids). Our room was quiet, clean, and spacious. We loved having the kitchen so we could make breakfast each morning and save a little time & money. For us location was perfect...away from the crowds on Collins, but still only a 5/10 min walk to restaurants, shopping, and of course - the beach! Our only hiccup was that we pre-paid for the airport shuttle here on this site (SCAM.SCAM.SCAM!). It was $38 for two prepaid. If we had just walked up it would have been only $32. PLUS - on the way back to airport the driver pointed out the pre-paid voucher was only from DOWNTOWN to airport (read the fine print), and he charged us another $5. So $43 versus $32 - SCAM! Grrr...

Pet Friendly Apt Hotel
The staff is friendly . Tradewinds is near beach and parks. I walked my dog for 1 hour . We enjoyed every day in Tradewinds.

No phones in the room, not elements for cooking
Our experience was good, but we were more than 100 meters of the lobby and any time we need something we had to walk there (35°C) because there are not phone extensions at the room. If we wanted to cook something at the oven like pizza there were no elements that are usual in any apart hotel. I had to walk to the lobby (more than 200 meters total to receive the answer that they don´t have elements to cook at the oven that there is at the apart. Because of my anger of lack of elements and no phones, to days after some elements appeared. Once, The personal, in order to notify me something when I wast´n at the room, (because a mistake they did) deactivated my key. I have to walk at midnight to the lobby only to help them saving the mistake !because there were no phones at the room!: Mi family was waiting outside of the room me to come back!!!!. Other things, like swimming pool, dvd, cleaning was OK
