Good value for the money
BW Gateway is an old hotel but there seems to be some improvements made throughout the years. The room was clean and neat but the bathroom was looking more dated. We had two double beds in the room which were small in size and couldn't be moved to unite. This is a reasonable stay for those who want to visit Universal and other parks around and won't spend much time at the hotel. Parking at site was very convenient and there was free shuttle service to Universal though we didn't use it. All in all good value for the money spent and suited us for our purpose of travel.

Walking mom
Excellent choice!
Our trip was wonderful! We walked from the hotel to Universal and saved $15 parking fee. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Pool and two hot tubs were fastically relaxing after a long day at the park. Will definitely book this hotel again! Thanks [...]!

Walk to the park. Or, you can take the free shuttle. We chose to walk so we could stay until the park closed.

Nice and pleasant
Hotel was nice and very quiet. We found out the day we left there were 120 teenage girls on our floor and we never heard a thing. Close to Universal and hundreds of great restaurants. Pool and two hot tubs were great. Maid did a great job cleaning our mess every day. Great price for a good hotel.

Great Place, Enjoyed Stay
The check in was quick though they do charge a very small resort fee per night and put a $100 dollar hold on your card in case of damages to the room. The room was nice and the bathroom was clean. I like that they have one sink inside the restroom and one outside the restroom incase the person you are with needs to use one while you take a shower or use the toilet.

Wet N' Wild is right accross the street but the main entrance is on International Drive. This place is a great time given the weather and is fun for all ages.

Great stay for the price
It was within 5 minutes of our theme park with free transportation. Awesome staff. The price was really cheap. I would stay there again for sure.

Those who want to walk could in my opinion. Maby 1 block to Wet n Wild and about 1 mile from Universal. At night the walk looked well lighted and seemingly safe area

Will Stay Again
I really like the two hot spas that both work with powerful jets. We enjoyed playing pinball in the game room and then going to eat dinner(which was good too). The snack shop/deli had great carrot and yellow cake which were three layers high. I will definitely stay here again.
