Very much OK
This Hotel is a little old and in need of some TLC however it was very clean and had free Wi-Fi in the rooms which was very helpful. If you are looking for a reasonably priced clean room this is totally fine but not too much more than that

great price, friendly staff
hotel was clean, staff friendly. nice bar/restaurant right off lobby, as well as small store. rooms were clean, beds were a little uncomfortable but were still able to sleep well. many places to eat within short walking distance right at corner of universal & international drives. pool w/cabanna was great with 2 hot tubs off to the side!

In Hotel
if you don't have transportation...ask the bell captain for a ride. they have a driver on site w/town car. the price is cheaper than using a cab if you cannot use one of the trolleys or shuttles. example: cab fare to hotel from airport...almost $60. ride from hotel back to airport using town car...$45. and, much nicer ride!

Renovation limited to lobby
The hotels was sufficient for what we needed, a place to sleep after we went to the parks. I would not recommend it if you'd like to enjoy your room, our smelled smokey, and our entire floor not been updated in a while. The breakfast was poor quality, we ended eating off site after the first morning. Staff was friendly and helpful, however, and we enjoyed the free shuttle to Universal.

Best Western Orlando Gateway
I love this hotel, the staff were cooperative and the room which i got was having adequate sunlight and better view. Very close to Wet and Wild, sea world and Universal Studio.

You can visit Universal Studio sky walk, this is hardly 2 miles from Best wester hotel.

What an awesome stay
The hotel was close to Universal, a water park across the street, tons of restuarants nearby, we went to 4 theme parks in 5 days, had a blast, we didnt even use a full tank of gas. The hotel staff were awesome. The room was great and the hot tub was incredible after a day of walking all over the place. The room service food was ok could be better, the price was right.

it's not as good as expected
The hotel is clean, but the location is very very unconvenient is you should not have a car, you need to walk for more than ten minutes to the nearest restaurant, and the hotel only offers the shuttle to Universal and Seaworld, and it took you about 1 and half hour to get to disney.

Very nice family getaway
We came there to visit Universal Parks. Everything was comfortable, checked in very fast with no hassle; room was clean with new TV and furniture, 10 min driving on provided shuttle buses to the parks. It was a good selection of meal at the restaurant downstairs and we enjoyed our breakfast there. We can not complain everything met our expectations.

Unbeatable location for the price

Had complimentary shuttle for sea world and Universal Studios. Just opposite to Wet & Wild park. Universal Studios is around two miles on the same road.
