excellent stay

Clean and comfortable room. Cozy gym and clean swimming pool. Excellent location. Hotel was close to universal studios, island of adventure, wet n wild, seaworld and aquatica. Also very close to international drive where you can find many places to eat. 100% smoke free rooms but smoking area right outside by outdoor swimming pool. Overall it was excellent stay. Recommend it to anyone visting florida for first time.

Very comfortable in every way.

Very nice, I would go back. I did have a little unpleasant surprise when they told me the room for three people only had one king size bed and that I had to pay for a second queen bed, plus a rolling bed. At the end they only charged me for the rolling bed. If I get a hotel for three people I expect three beds unless they notify me in advanc.

Great place to stay in Orlando

We were in Orlando to go the Universal theme parks. This hotel is close to Universal, but still a bit too far to walk, esp. considering the road/sidewalk situation in the area. Still, it's a good location for the parks and the hotel itself is great. The room was clean, big, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff was great and we really enjoyed the pool area. The pool is large and there is lots of seating and a nice, but pricey pool-side bar. The main downsides were no free wi-fi in the rooms and high prices for the breakfast buffet and drinks in the hotel bars. It seemed particularly odd because the food at the pool-side bar was fairly priced, but the drinks were really expensive.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Skip the breakfast buffet at the hotel, it's good, but pricey for what you get. There is a Perkins restaurant at about two blocks away and breakfast there was cheaper and better.

Worth of money

It was nice,clean and comfortable.The staff is very friendly.They have a very nice pool and jacuzzi + a bar on a side.

Family of 4 - 8 and 11. First time at Universal

Room needs a makeover. Morning buffet is grand. Staff was very helpful, nice. Location is average.

Great stay

Nice hotel, good location and value for money

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We booked a suite which was very roomy and comfortable. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. Especially the concierge Douglas. He helped us out with everything from restaurant reservations to getting us in the shuttle to Universal Studios. He made really good recommendations on restaurants, shopping places and got us good discounts on restaurants as well. Our stay was very restful and relaxing and we really had a good time here.
