Radisson Hotel Orlando - International Drive

I was excited that I was booking an affordable vacation with my family at a 4 star rated hotel. When we got to our hotel, it was ok, nothing spectacular. It is in a great location for things to do and places to eat. But the hotel room bed the first night was not a sleep number bed. The mattress' were HORRIBLE. The nice staff did change our room promptly the next morning, to a room that was JUST checked out of. For us to come back to that night still not changed. The sleep number bed is not worth any special advertisement. Not a nightmare experience, definitely got our monies worth. a place to sleep and go on your merry way.

We had to pay 70 extra dollars for some alleged tour buses that we didn't even intend to use but were supposedly included and mandatory. Also somebody from the staff made a call and they wanted to charge us for it, though they acceded to remove it when we disputed it.

This hotel had a bed bug infestation! I woke up with bites and saw the bugs crawling on my sheets. When the management was alerted they were apologetic but not surprised; they only comped one night, switched me to an equally shabby room, and refused to comp the second of my two night stay. I would certainly avoid this hotel - it was dirty and the management was rude. Find another hotel on I-Drive

This location is good for Universal, Seaworld and Disney. The Sleep number beds are old & tired we had two double beds that didn't operate properly terrible night sleep. When booking online it mentioned breakfast. At check in asked if there was breakfast the front desk said sure 6:30-11am breakfast buffet, didn't mention that it was $9.99 ea + tax + drinks, Food staff was great, we thought breakfast was included until we were given the bill. Upon checkout there was a $10.00 fee was told for maid service by the front desk? We checked out were about an hour away called front desk said we left phone charger in the room would be back the next day to pick up, horrible service regarding this from the front desk just didn't care should be simple to handle, was told maid would call never did. Called again later that afternoon told front desk situation wanted me to call back I asked to speak to a manager wouldn't allow that had taken my information down to give to the maid who didn't show up the next day. Went in next day no charger asked to speak to a manager front desk said no manager available! A great guy in maintenance helped me find a replacement in lost and found not my same one and offered to give me his out of his car I said this will do and thanked him for his help. Front desk people need customer service training in a big way.

This vacation was great! The only thing I wish I had looked into is the shuttle service to the parks. The hotel only had 1 to 2 shuttles that went to the theme parks. However...it was in a great location with many different restaurants, shops, and many different things you can do really close to the hotel. Overall it was a great experience.

It was overall a good place to stay. The staff was nice and the rooms were ok.

This is an awesome hotel. Close to restaurants and freeway. Sleep number beds were very uncomfortable.

Need little improvement for breakfast and swimming pool.

First of they say they have tennis courts ........not true when using the pool there were never any towels the bar was not workable it was in process of being re-done. We had no AC for 3 days they compensated by giving us back 30 $ big deal...........we had a non working microwave and after 3 calls to the desk we had to go to the front desk to finally get someone to replace it so we had a microwave for the last 2 days of our stay they compensated us by giving us back 10 $. The breakfast buffett at the Cargo was terrible not worth 10.00 rubber pancakes and sausages. We found a nice buffett at the Wood Grill on international drive which was cheaper and so much more fresh food, we went there at least 4 times for breakfast and twice for lunch. All in all we will never stay ata the Raddisson again.Although the staff was nice and the housekeeping was very good.
