The Orange County Convention Center
This was my first time staying at a Stybridge Suite. The single suite was comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The free breakfast buffet was great! It has something for everyone, I really was impressed. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to ride the local shuttle to the Convention Center. There were lot's of restaurants nearby to choose from for lunch and dinner meals. My stay at the Staybridge Suites was convenient;clean and restful. I would stay at a Staybridge again.

AVOID!!!
Traveling with 2 kids, we thought the lower (affordable) price was a great deal. We also stayed at Staybridge hotels in 2 other locations and liked them a lot. This hotel could have been Ok, but it's very old, poorly maintained, and the rooms are probably the dirtiest I have ever seen. When we checked in they put us in a room so dirty our white socks turned black within minutes – the trash cans in the room filled with someone else's trash including old food containers and cigarette pack (non-smoking room – ha). So we asked for a different room. We took one that looked cleaner – had no choice with two kids at 9PM on a 4 day vacation we weren't about to start looking for another hotel. In the second room, the trash cans were empty and the carpet looked a bit cleaner, but our white socks still turned black after a while, one of the windows leaked water when it rained, the coffee table was filthy with black residue of some sort, and the list goes on! Really bad, and discussing enough to ruin your vacation! The staff is probably the problem - when you try to talk to the staff (about anything) you immediately realize how little they care. When we approached the front desk to check in (with little 2 kids at 8PM), there were 2 staff members at the desk who were too busy chatting in Spanish and giggling to immediately assist us. We had to wait for them to finish their talking and giggling to be helped. That night when I asked for a cleaner room, they gave me a key to another room to go check it out. I tried to open the door with the key, but it was latch locked from the inside! I came back down to the reception desk where the 2 staff members insisted the room was vacant. They called other staff member over their radio (again, all communications between staff members were in Spanish, so I could understand was the room number…) – everyone denied being in the room. So we I went upstairs to the room with one of the staff members and – magic – the door opened. Later when we moved to that new room, I noticed that the TV remote was misplaced and the coffee table moved – so my guess is that one of the employees was hiding/napping in that room when I attempted to open the door. Their breakfast is almost ok, but there is never enough food and staff so you end up spending a lot of time waiting for a table to be cleaned or food to be replenished – we can usually have breakfast at a hotel in about 30 minutes, here it took an hour plus because they were so disorganized. In summary, terrible staff, filthiest hotel rooms I have ever seen. AVOID the Orlando Staybridge!!!

If you are going to Disney World, make sure you always have a FASTPASS for the next attraction (if available). It saved us a lot of time, which helps to offset the time you spend in long lines especially with kids.
