5 star resort , can't wait to go back

The Point was fabulous! We decided to stay for our bachelor and bachelorette party and decided to splurge a bit more than our usual hotel. When we checked in we got a free upgrade which was great. The room was a king one bedroom condo overlooking the pool. It was beautiful then bathroom was to die for with that big jetted tub and walk in shower. I felt like a queen! The room had everything from plates to extra towels. The service and staff were fantastic, so pleasant. The location is perfect right down the street from universal and wet and wild. The breakfast buffet was also really good. The only negative thing is the parking this place fills up quick. I can't wait to go back for our honeymoon. Thank you so much The Point!!

great weekend vacation

The staff was very friendly and informative. They accommodated all of our requests and made sure that we were comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. I've never seen a suite that includes kitchenware to use during the stay. Made it very convenient to heat up any leftovers for meals on another day.It was a great experience overall.

Perfect vacation experience!

I was really happy with my hotel!! The pool was nice and the room was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed with was the shuttle, but that was out of the hotel's control. The shuttle return time is very close to the final shows at the parks. It was difficult to enjoy the final show because I was so busy worried that I would not make it to the shuttle. The hotel was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well kept. I enjoyed having coffee in the room every morning before adventuring orlando. The hotel was relatively close to 2 of the parks and I was able to find buses to a lot of the shopping areas, especially along international drive. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great weekend trip

I really enjoyed my stay here. I got a 1 bedroom room with a living room and kitchen. Super adorable with updated kitchen and balcony. The room was clean and cozy. The pool was nice. The only down side was theres no dvd player in the rooms nor could you order movies, at night the parking would get so packed you had to park on the grass, and the food at the cafe was not that great. They also need to power wash the outside of the building its starting to look real dirty. Other than that i had a great time and would stay there again.

Great Stay --

We actually slept well on the comfortable beds. They had the BEST hotel pillows I have ever seen. The 2-bedroom Suite was so great, we felt like we were really at home, and not in a hotel. We will be back!

Wonderful Experience!

I must say, this hotel/resort hit the nail right on the head! I tend to perform a lot of research prior to finalizing a reservation and I use the internet as an aide for reviews. My top priorities when searching for a hotel are cleanliness; location to major services/attractions/restaurants; value(price); and free parking and/or hot breakfast are always bonuses. This resort was splendid and checked off all my boxes. Even though the hot breakfast was $12 per person plus taxes and gratuity (not included in room rate however, I believe some packages may offer this added option) and the resort fee was about the same at $12 per day, both were quite reasonable and the hot buffet breakfast was perfect and available until 11am! My boyfriend and I did not get to use the facilities (pool, fitness center) during our 3-night stay because there is always something to do on the outside in Orlando, but maybe next time! I highly recommend this hotel/resort whether your travelling in 2 or in 6 because 2 bedroom units are also available! My only issue (and it was not one to really complain about) was that the toilet had water pressure issues and did not flush properly all the time, and maybe the hallways could use a vacuuming a little more often, but having been there over the Labor Day weekend, it was extremely busy and therefore, not really a complaint. Overall, great stay!

Great Value for the price!

The Point Orlando Resort is a new brand to me. I am an Orlando resident, and was looking for just a relaxing weekend away from home. While researching, the reviews for this place versus the cost it was listed for was unbeatable, so I decided to check it out. The staff was quite pleasant and willing to assist. At first I was a little disappointed by the quality of the beds, since that was the first thing I checked out, only to find that it squeaked quite a bit and was not as comfortable as I was expecting. I called the front desk and they had sent their engineers to resolve the matter while I had stepped out, however, when I returned I realized that they didn't resolve it, but instead had made the sofa bed, which wasn't what I was expecting, nor was it comfortable. So when I called again, the front desk manager decided to change my room since it was so late at night. The room was really nice and clean, with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and the bathroom had a whirlpool tub with jets as well as a walk in shower. The king bed, however, still squeaked a little when I sat on it or tried to lay on it, and if you rolled around on it, it felt like it wasn't level. I decided to stop complaining and just enjoy the rest of the amenities. It really was a great room. The bed wasn't the worst, but they could definitely upgrade their quality of beds. There isn't any reason for a fairly new resort to have squeaky and creaking beds, as if they're old. I spent a good amount of time in the room, and was also hoping for a variety of channels and movie options, but they didn't have that. I asked the front desk about that, and I was told that they may be switching cable providers soon. The overall stay was pleasant. I enjoyed the pool and bar area, especially the staff who were extremely friendly. I also liked the fact that parking was free, and for a nice hotel, it's pretty rare to have free parking. The area is not as congested as the rest of the vicinity, considering it's location is so close to tourist attractions as Wet N Wild and Universal Studios, as well as, the outlets are within minutes of the resort. I definitely recommend the resort for anyone looking for a comfortable resort stay within a reasonable distance from the attractions in Orlando.
