Wyndham Orlando Resort

The hotel wasn't bad for the price, I just would have liked for it to be cleaner.Luckily, I only stayed there for one night.

Upon check-in room was not clean. Rug was sitting outside, and a bag of dirty laundry sitting in room. Changed rooms and the new room's phone did not work. Internet is thru the phone line. And they charge for internet service. I can get free internet at other "lower brand" hotels. New room was dirty too. They charge a "resort fee"... for what? None of the pools were open, none of the fountains worked, etc. This hotel is old, outdated and getting ready for a renovation and it shows. Not what you would expect from a this brand. On top of that because i booked thru an "online website", they would not give me points for my Rewards program...... Very disappointed. Would not recommend this hotel.

room was nice with a refrigerator. was a large place and can get lost! I couldnt get any heat or air on, was late so I didn't ask for help

Plus: The hotel is located very close to souvenir shops, restaurants, pharmacies and you can walk to all of them. Cheap and if you are barely gonna spend any time in the room its fine. The staff was also very nice! Only about 10mns from the downtown fun. Downer: More Motel style than resort/hotel. The room was dated and a little dirty. Barely any electrical outlets. The radio didn't work and the vending machine drinks were hot. The room was very small as well.

Location was key, excellent dining and attractions near by. Room was clean, parking a bit difficult.

Staff was great. Hotel is under major rennovation right now. Ask for one of the rennovated rooms, AWESOME !!! Clean and very comfy beds. Friends got there before us and had an older room their first night, not so good for them. They asked to be moved after seeing our room and the hotel was very accomodating.We will go back again, longer next time. Great location, lots to do near by.

The first room smelt disgusting and on closer inspection we found mold from the air conditioner spewing onto the bed. Our request for a new room was accommodated promptly. The new room was spacious but felt very dorm-like. I thought I was going to get beaten up in the locker room style shower. In terms of the location, it was a great place to crash for one night before moving on. If you are looking for a place to sleep with little or no amenities, this is good value.

The room was clean and comfortable. However the hallways and common areas are a little on the worn-out side. It's obvious that areas of the hotel are under construction so perhaps that will be improved with time. For the time being, the location and price make it worth the stay.

We got the hotel and they reserved a smoking room for us. We ask them to change us for room and they put us in a double bed room. But the worst problem was the bathroom, the bathtub was gloved, we ask them to solve, they solved, but the bathtub was bored and with a terrible smell. We Could not use it. The friged was broked and we lost some food.

Entry to the hotel was uncertain and poorly signed. The hotel shares grounds with a connected convention center and so navigation to the hotel and within the hotel was a bit confusing. Check-in was uneventful and the staff was friendly. The room I was assigned had a very strong odor from the old carpet. The bathroom fan was likewise antique and very, very noisy. The TV in the room was an old CRT unit with a broken remote control and so useless. Wireless internet was not offered or explained by staff. I ended up connecting my personal telephone to my computer to watch the nightly news.
