Ok stay
I have stayed at this hotel before because it is conveniently located for my visits to Tallahassee. If that all you want is a place to stay, this is ok and low priced. They can definitely update the rooms and improve on the room cleanliness. The breakfast is very basic, everything packaged, but adequate. The pool area was clean and in good condition.

Staff friendliness makes it worth it
So the room is a little old and everything, but it's at an ideal location, the room itself was very clean, and the staff really are friendly and as helpful as they can be. It's definitely worth the money.

Good value for the money.
I saw some of the negative reviews of this hotel, and was worried about this room being "sketchy". Let me say that this room was clean and bright. No smoke smell that others had complained about. The staff was very friendly, the buildings looked to be well maintained and I loved that the property backed up to tree rather than another building. Close to several restaurants, Governors Mall, and a Publix, I thought that the location was great. Overall, while not an outstanding establishment, it certainly doesn't deserve the scathing reviews it has received, and would definitely stay with them again!

Governors Mall. Dont bother going to Tallahassee Mall unless your wanting to see a movie at the AMC theatre, or hit up the B&N. Governors Mall is much nicer, with many more shops, and its maintained very well. OH! The IHOP next to the hotel gives you a 10% discount when you show them your room key!

Positive evaluation, polite and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, basic bagel,oatmeal coffee breakfast. Given competative costs,, definitely a value leader. Would certainly use again.

Not the usual "La Quinta"
Just an okay place. Room was clean enough. Lobby is supper small with practically no breakfast area. Coffee was awful. Most guests go next door to I-Hop (same parking lot). Great location close to most everything. Only reason to stay there is low price.

The first room I was given smelled like a cross between a wet dog and an ash tray. The second room I smelled better but the "pop-corn" ceiling was falling down all over the room including the beds. I won't be staying here again.
