This hotel was in a very convenient location-- easy walking distance to the RiverWalk and downtown shops and restuarants. The front desk staff was extremely courteous. We had a toilet issue when we got to our room, but a friendly maintenance guy came up right away and fixed it. Our room was very nice and the hotel had character and history, too. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it. Only drawbacks: no breakfast and Internet service wasn't free.

Was in town to umpire a baseball tournament and got a good deal at the HoJo. Everyone was very nice, breakfast was decent and the pool was refreshing. Old tvs, ok internet, rough towels, great air conditioning.

The Property was kept very clean at all times. Nice continetal breakfast. River Walk is awesome and only 5 to 6 blocks away. I think more promotions (in the room) from surrounding business may be useful. Great dinner next to hotel at Ruth Ann's. Need food Delivery adds or chamber of commerce listings of businesses in area. Pool was very clean. Staff were very professional. Laudry room need repairs and Dryer not very good. It did get the job done but took extra change to do it. Graduation time and lots of kids running around. Security Guard was very diplomatic and firm...

The staff at the front desk were friendly and check-in as well as check-out went smoothly. The staff were not familiar with the immediate for banking or grocery. I asked for a nonsmoking room but I received a smoking room. Upon bringing the situation to the staff, i was given a nonsmoking room. The room was basic with soap, an iron and ironing board, television and a refrigerator. The room itself looked liked it had not been remodeled in at least 10 years. There was grout missing around the tub and the wood frame for the tub was visible. The price was basic and so was the room. If all you need is a basic room for the night, then this may be for you.

Good location and reasonable price

I was there for my husband's graduation at Ft. Benning. The hotel is 15 mins drive from the base which is big plus. Also, the room is clean overall. The only thing was that they didn't have cookware(pots and pans) available to rent which they said they did on the little card. And it's silly because they have the stove and everything.

the room was very big,beyond my expectations. their location next to a restrauant was most convienent. the staff was very friendly. And I would recommend this hotel to my friends if they travel to this area, and I would certainly stay there again ,the next time I visit.

The room was clean and well stocked with towels. The breakfast bar was VERY well maintained and the lady that managed it was Fabulous! Cleaning up and restocking the whole time. The night manager was super freindly and was STILL freindly when I saw him the next morning!! I would definitely stay with y'all again!

We were near the housekeeping area and walked past several times. All their equipment was clean, labelled and in order. I was very impressed. Even the large trash cans used to empty the trash from all the rooms were clean. Kudos!!!!! The location was great. Came out of the airport, went straight down the highway, got off just a few exits later (within five to seven minutes) and there we were. We would definitely stay again. The breakfast was nice as well. Not just continental breakfast of coffee and donuts. It actually was a breakfast.

The room was comfortable, but because of the celebration on New year eve, it was very noisy to the point that the police had to be called. It was like this for most of the night, until 3 am or later.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Columbus Airport for my son's Graduation from Army. Everyone at the Hotel all the staff was so polite and nice. Cleaning staff always smiling saying good morning, ect. smiling.
Hotel staff very helpful with anything that we needed.
Breakfast great every morning. I wish the people in the town where I'm from were as nice as the people in GA.
I've stayed in a lot of hotels but I must say I enjoyed the staff at the Hampton in GA the best. Thank you for all of your kindness.

The Rooms were nice and clean. The hotel was well situated and pets stayed free. That's Great! However, there was a child screaming in the hall for what seemed like all night, for several nights. The breakfast was decent, but needed some meat.

All right, but loud by the highway

The hotel staff was pleasant and the accommodations were comfortable. The first night's room overlooked the dumpster, employee parking lot, and faced the freeway. Lots of noise! I was moved to a poolside room for the second night and had no problems.

We had requested a non-smoking room and was put in a smoking room with lint on the ceiling. I was told they didn't have any more rooms. When my husband complained later that night, they moved us. There were no amenitities. When we stayed last year, we were given a complimentary breakfast pass and free internet. At check-in we were told that nothing was complimentary just a warm cookie. Sheets were changed every other day. TV was analog not HD.

The Newly renovated Days Inn Columbus Georgia is located in North Columbus, Exit 6 and the closest Days Inn to Fort Benning. Our new Registration building opened in May of May of 2009. Our rooms have been updated with a new color scheme, new bedding and new carpeting. We now have a restaurant on site called The Great Panda Express.
Days Inn Columbus is just 4 miles from Fort Benning, within minutes to local Shopping at the Peachtree Mall or the Columbus Park Crossing Outdoor Mall. Our property is the closest Days Inn to Columbus State University and the Columbus Airport. Other area attractions in the Columbus area include: Coca Cola Space Science Center, Columbus Museum, Wild Animal Safari and many more cultural and historical events.

Great price, comfy bed

Price of room was the best in town. We were there to visit our son graduating basic training and our location was perfect for this. Several resturants and malls are withing a few miles and Ft. Benning is 7 miles away. The staff was very courteous. Some of the construction crew guest, with some of the things they were doing, made me wary, but I'm a guy and felt secure. If it was my wife alone, she is not as secure and wouldn't feel comfortable around that. But, for the price, we got a nice room, comfy bed, good breakfast and a good location. Just don't expect anything special.

Needed a room for the night and it met my needs. Clean and quiet. Try to check in earlier than I did. The office is not open late at night and they probably don't like being woke up.

Good place to stay

This hotel was close to food, shopping and activities. I liked how clean the room was and how quiet it was. Our room was next to the highway, but the noise was not that bad. It didn't cause me to lose any sleep. The hot breakfast included waffles, bacon, eggs, bagels, instant grits, intant oatmeal & even had little yopliat yogurts. I would stay again if in the area and recommend to a friend.

Staff were friendly, but the exercise room was minimal at best and when checking in at night, no internet cables were available. They were locked in the manager's office. Although called a suite, the one room was tight and tough to maneuver for 3 people.

Room was fine for the price, but hallways/doors were in disrepair and smelled bad. Electrical outlets in the room didn't all work and with some you couldn't have 2 things plugged in at the same time. Bed was comfortable though.

It was a dingy room, beds looked gross, towels looked gross, tub and shower looked dirty also. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the bed or using their sheets or blankets. Would not choose to stay here again, it used to be decent but not anymore. Needs a cleanup and renovation.

The staff at this hotel was exceptional. I had a couple of issues and they acted quickly and very professionally.
The hotel is older but clean. Nothing fancy but good for an overnight stay. The problem I had was that even though the room was non smoking as were the other rooms around us it smelled of smoke and there was a burn hole in the bedspread. So guests were not following policy and smoking.

Difficult entrance and exit

The motel was great! The breakfast was better than what I've learned to expect from most continental breakfasts. The major drawback was the entrance and exit into the motel parking lot off the street. There's no left turn out of the lot and it was particularly bad during rush hour.
Our air conditioner was very noisy the first night. I told the front desk clerk and it was working perfectly by the next night.

Our hotel upgraded us as we thought we were getting a non-smoking room, only to find it was actually a smoking room. I worried about my daughters' sensitivity to smoke and the hotel offered an upgrade at the same cost. Of course, that was nice, but the pool being out-of-service was a bummer. The breakfast wasn't hot and had to be microwaved on site. But, it was satisfying, not tasty, just satisfying. The help at the hotel was nice. The room was clean and nothing wrong at all. It is centrally located to the college area and shopping is a quick ride up the street. All-in-all, a fair stay at a jacked-up price, like all the others.

First off, [...]at the front desk was very nice and professional. The rooms were a little small and I saw a couple of crawlers in the room but nothing bad. The room overall was clean. It was mainly to sleep in since we were out most of the time and that's exactly what these rooms are for. Nothing exciting about it but would stay there again if needed to. Breakfast was good too.

The room was not decorated with the nice pictures, etc. that I have grow accustom to in my travels. I have stayed in a few Mariott hotels, this one was not as comfortable as others. But the location was great, and I did get a good night sleep.

The clerk had no idea how to check me in since I booked with [...]. It took me 45 minutes to get checked in. She tried to charge my credit card again after I told her I had already paid with [...]. The room had an inch of space under the door and the noise was pretty loud from the traffic.

I specifically requested a non-smoking room and got stuck in a smelly one instead. Also, the stuck me in the front of the hotel, right by the highway. It was very noisy and hard to sleep. Won't go back there again.

We were pleasantly surprised with the amenities and friendliness of the staff. While not the best part of town, the staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Room was spacious and well equipped. Very nice exercise room and pool.
