You mostly get what you pay for

For an inexpensive overnight, the experience was mostly what I expected: clean room (except for a used-smelling bedspread), no breakfast, sufficient room supplies. I was very disappointed in the staff, though. If you arrive after 11 PM, you may not be able to check in to your room. I ended up going to the hotel next door for assistance in contacting someone at this motel to open the lobby and give me a key. The entire process took nearly an hour. I do not plan to stay there again.

Good Quick Room

Needed a room for the night and it met my needs. Clean and quiet. Try to check in earlier than I did. The office is not open late at night and they probably don't like being woke up.

Great Value

The Extended Stay Hotel in Columbus Ga was a great value. While it does not have a pool, or dinning facility, neither did it claim to have those things. It did have a refrigerator, microwave, and stove that were all in good condition and in good working order in my room. The room was clean and in good order and well kept. The staff was unfailingly helpful and friendly. The location was good. It was reasonably close to the airport and close to dining and stores. Also it was close to the interstate so you could travel the greater Columbus area with ease. Extra air mattresses and soap and towels were complimentary. I feel they provided the best ratio of price to value in the area.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

A steakhouse, The Buckhead, was essentially located in the same parking lot. It appeared to be a bar and grill slightly to the upscale side.
