La Quinta Inn & Suites Macon

Booked this Hotel because of location and description. Coffee maker was very very dirty, water and coffee in unit with sugar and creamer soaked. Spoke with front desk they did not do anything about it. The next morning, I was getting ready to leave and notice the side of the bed was dirty with dirt and what looked like dried blood. They had not changed the sheets. We will never ever stay with La Quinta again. A total Bad Experience.

The experience I had at this hotel wasn't bad by any means. However, it wouldn't be a place I would stay again. It was conviently located right off of the highway which was what my girlfriend and I needed, but the road it was off of could have definitely used a stop light at its intersection. Slightly dangerous just having a stop sign. The staff was okay. The woman at the front desk was there physically, but was checked out mentally. Maid knocked on the door a little too early, and tried talking to me through the door, which was strange and led to a call from the front desk because she asked a question I must've answered incorrectly because I couldn't understand what was being asked. As far as the room was concerned, it wasn't bad, but also wasn't what I had expected based on the pictures given. The room and the hallway had a bit of a musty smell. The bedding was clean, but the bathroom could have used another one over. Again, not great, but it was acceptable for a one night stay. There was a Comfort Inn just road down that I would have stayed at had I known it was there prior to booking La Quinta, and if I had needed to stay any longer, I would have gone there due to good experiences with Comfort Inn & Suites in the past.

The hotel was nice. What you expect these days plus a little larger room and an interesting layout. The access from the Interstate and the near by restaurants makes it even better.

First impression not good, hotel staff outside the lobby smoking and a couple walking their four dogs into the hotel, I didn't notice that it was a pet friendly hotel, on the good side, the guy on the front desk was very nice and helpful and the room was spacious, for a one night stop the hotel was ok...breakfast was a frenzy, nearly a fist fight at the waffle making machine,lol,.we just grabbed coffees and went to McDonalds...overall we will give it a miss next time!

Perfect location for our visit to an area Dr. It was close to some shopping to kill some time and had good restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable.

This La Quinta esceeded our expectations for a night on the road. It is quite nice and clean with a good continental breakfast. Don't let the location (just off of I-75) scare you off. No road noise and very secure. We were pleasantly surprised.

Great room . Nice location. Very clean. Would go back any time. I think I would look at the same chain in other places too.

Stayed just one night while traveling with children. Very spacious room and bathroom. Staff very prompt with request for rollaway bed. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Very ample breakfast.

We just stayed overnight in order to visit family who did not have enough room for us at their home. We used to live in Macon, so knew the area, but in any case, hotel was easy to find and get to, and close to lots of things you might need or want. Not in the room very long, but it was very quiet, clean, and bed was one of the best we've slept on, even better than ours at home. No complaints and would stay there again without hesitation.
