With an ideal location off of I-475, Red Roof Macon West is convenient to so much in this historic city of the South. Our hotel is within minutes of Macon State College, Harriet Tubman African American Museum, Georgia Childrens Museum, Macon Technical Institute, The Museum of Arts and Sciences, Wesleyan College, the Macon Centreplex and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Or stay with us during the International Cherry Blossom Festival, 10 days of events, concerts, arts and crafts, and balloon rides. Only 8 miles from Middle Georgia Regional Airport, Red Roof Macon West is close to a wide variety of restaurants. Visitors will also enjoy recreational activities like shopping, golfing and fishing.

Nothing to write home about...

When we arrived, rooms were still being cleaned although there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. When we went up the stais to our room, there was overflowing trash in the garbage can. Also a plastic bag full of trash sitting besides it. When we checked out the next day... the trash was still as I mentioned above.

The New China Restaurant accross the street was fabulous.
