Ladies - don't wear heels in Savannah. The streets are cobblestone, and drinking on the street is allowed. Wear flats to avoid injury!

1st time in Savannah
Location was great, price was right for a 3 star hotel. Valet parking was a little crowed at check in time, so wait a little while before checking in. Room was great, but the bed was too soft. Breakfast was great. Overall we were pleased with the stay and will stay again in the future.

Wonderful front desk
Everyone at the front desk was not just pleasant but eager to talk about things to do in Savannah. I can't imagine a more perfect location if you want to be where the action is. The view from the roof was gorgeous. The downside was a noisy ventilation system and slow valet service.

Anniversary trip!!
We had the best time!! Everything is in walking distance from hotel. River street is right across the street. Breakfast was awesome every morning. Parking was a little high $15 a day, but it was nice not having to get in the car and drive everywhere!! Will deff. be back!!

Perfect Location! This hotel definitely delivers!
I'll admit, when I think of H.I.E.s I don't picture luxury or cleanliness, but this location was absolutely amazing. For the price, this was the best location possible; smack dab in the middle of Bay St and only one street away from the main attraction of River St. We had a glitch in our travel plans but the staff was super accommodating and allowed us to push back our reservation without any additional fees. The room, though small, was packed with all of the essentials and was quite modern. My only complaint was that the carpet wasn't as clean as I would have liked and the bathroom door was in a weird location so made it difficult for two people to get ready. All of the staff were extra pleasant and highly knowledgeable about hot spots and attractions. We self parked or they have valet parking. The bar hours weren't great and it would've been nice to have an in house restaurant to order room service. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi delivered and it was an amazing view. This is an excellent place to stay on a budget, especially since breakfast is included.

Short drive from hotel
The Crab Shack on Tybee Island - best seafood!! Get to the island about an hour before sunset and drive out to the pier or put your feet in the water. Great place to watch the sun set and then go grab some beers and the most delish seafood!

Girls Shopping Trip
Stayed here with friends for a girls Christmas Shopping Trip! Perfect location, great room, and Awesome Staff, Gregory, Everett, Jamie, Sheila. HIE is 5 STARS! I would definitely come again.

Perfect Thanksgiving Stay!
Managed to get one of the few rooms with a balcony...nice views of the river! Couldn't be be pleased with the location!

The hearse tours leave from across the street. We had so much fun on the tour and learned a lot about the haunted history of Savannah!

Great Stay!
Hotel accomadations excellent. Staff very friendly & helpful. Excellent breakfast, more than we expected. Great location to shops, restaurants and area attractions. Only thing missing, not enough vacaton time.

A Very Nice Place to Stay
Desk emplyees were very nice and accomodating. Valet Employees were very nice and helpfull. Good Breakfast. Very Good Location to Historic and Riverfront Area We needed a late check out and they were very helpful.
