Hyatt Regency Savannah

Stayed during the Tall Ship Sail and had the perfedt riverfront room to watch all the activities. The staff was great and food wonderful. I wish the beds had been queen instead of full. Took my brother ( who has CP) in a wheelchair and had plenty of room in a regular room. Loved the view from room 304!!

Never having visited Savannah I wasn't sure that I was staying in the right spot, but when we got there I realized we were in the perfect spot. There is a tour bus pickup location right outside the hotel next door and there is an elevator to River Street next to the Hyatt. we were right across the street from restaurants and shops as well. We also had a GREAT view of the river and bridge.

Nice location, nice hotel, wish we would have had a river view. My bad I guess, should have asked for one.

14th anniversary trip.....check in 9pm....stuck us in an ADA handicapped room window view the elevator....ok not the river view i wanted........changed room with the desk clerk on the next day paid extra to move and have things moved.....strolled through savannah etc returned at 5;30 to prepare for dinner.....the desk clerk has know record of changes or payment to another room with a view....pulled the manager aside told him the story...he sent up a bottle of bubbly on the house.......thanks...parking garage short anttenae on car fell off scratched the lid......$56 to park not including tip....I will stay somewhere else the location is grand....however..

Excellent location, although you need to make sure you are not on the last floor, as the heating units in the roof make a lot of noise. Expect paying $19/night for parking!

The hotel was great. Only 2 suprises. Parking was 19 dollars a night and a smoking room was 30 dollars extra a night. You also had to smoke on the balcony. But I would stay there again.

everything was great from moment we got there until we left . They were waiting with open arms and super friendly.

I payed 17 dollars for breakfast. My only negative.

The Hyatt Regency in Savannah is perfectly located to River St. Very easy access on and off the Street. The room was average considering the price, I have stayed in places that were a lot less expensive and the rooms were much nicer. The air conditioner in our room did not do a very good job, there was only one air vent so circulation was less than good. The staff were nice and very helpful they seemed eager to please. All things considered, I would stay there again just because of its location.

The hotel was great and the location is excellent. No one told us about the $19.00 per day mandatory valet parking fee though.
