Great women's week-end
The location was perfect for walks along the Savannah River, shopping, eating and heading out for walking or trolley tours. Staff members were especially helpful when planning daily activities and getting to the airport. The complimentary breakfast was a tasty and complete meal.

Great location
Great location for exploring historic Savannah. Clean rooms and nice to have the small kitchen. Breakfast was ok. The coffee was great. A little noisy from the bar across the street corner from the hotel. Our room key did not work for the first day and half. We kept having to go back to the front desk to have it reset. Also the lobby elevator was not working. However the staff was great. Very helpful and friendly.

Spanky's on River street was awful. Worst meal of te entire trip. Try the Cotton Exchange or Moon River instead.

Staybridge Stay
Close to River Street and within 2-10 minute walk of most anything else you might want to see or do in the Historic District. Exceptionally helpful staff.

Perfect location
The Staybridge was perfect for our 3 night stay in Savannah. We were able to easily walk or catch the free shuttle to all the places we wanted to go. The staff is great. Good, hot breakfast each morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Househunting trip
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Suites. This was our 3rd time at this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms very clean and the breakfast was superior. Each evening, they had a Sundown reception with wine, beer and substantial snacks that could pass for dinner. Great location near all of the historic sites. My only minor complaint is that the internet was slow. Other than that, a perfect place to stay.

The mattress was terrible. Felt like a bag of rocks
The hotel has cut back from previous visits - no bell hop or valet parking, limited parking in small lot behind hotel with over flow going to top floor of a parking garage. The mattress was like sleeping on a bag of rocks and no box springs, just a solid base. The room was very small and could only accomodate one chair right next to tv. Disappointing stay - won't be back

Fun, quick getaway
We had a great stay at this hotel. Charlie the Concierge was great! We had no problems with the hotel, location is wonderful. Room was clean and spacious. Only problem we had was with loud guests, especially with our room being on the interior. Overall, I would recommend and we plan to stay here when we visit Savannah again.

Happy New Year in Savannah!
This hotel was great, only a couple of issues that I could find. B/c we booked through this site the clerk couldn't/wouldn't tell us what our nightly rate was, or if what we paid included the parking fee per night. That was very frustrating as we paid for both rooms and were trying to split the amount paid w/ our friends. The breakfast was mediocre at best, however the negative part was that they allow pets to walk through the door beside the breakfast area...I have a problem with that, I don't allow my dog in the kitchen or near the table ever! And the last thing I want is someone sitting at a table near me with their dog, or walking past the breakfast area while I'm trying to eat. I think their should be a seperate entrance/exit for the pets, especially at breakfast time! I would stay here again, but probably would pay to eat somewhere that didn't allow pets while I'm eating. A lot of that is to be blamed on the humans, my dog is my baby and I love him, but I still don't allow my 90lb (yes, ninety) lap dog to sit with me while I eat. I would also have respect enough for others, to keep my dog away from them while they ate.

Short walk from hotel
I love Savannah, and almost everything in the historic district is w/in walking distance. That's why we chose this location. I love River St and it was right across the street. I really thought this hotel was further down Bay than it was, so it was a great surprise to find it so perfectly located.

Great location & nice hotel
Wonderful location, close to everything. Parking not so great especially at $9 a day-- you pay that and then still end up paying city parking because all their spots are full. Room was clean but you can tell the hotel gets alot of traffic. Despite great location in the middle of things hotel was EXCEPTIONALLY quiet which was an amazing plus. Interaction with various hotel staff coming and going from hotel lobby, ranged from very nice and helfpul to a bit better than a warm body behind the desk. Breakfast great and gobbled up as soon as the staff put it out

Meeting at Savannah Convention Center
The Staybridge was very nice! I came in on a red-eye a few hours before check in and they were able to find me a room, then called to make sure it was OK once I got in. The staff was very friendly and accomodating! The rrom was clean and pleasant, the kitchnette would have been great if I'd brought the kids, but I was at the Convention center most of the day. Probably because of early check in I had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the street but the street noise didn't really bother me, except for one car alarm going off at 3 am, it wasn't an issue. Breakfast had many more options than I've come to expect from a "continental breakfast" - not only waffles and cold cereal, but 2 kinds of hot cereal, eggs and breakfast meats, fruit, and more.
