Waikiki beachfront wonderland
Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is Waikiki's only true resort destination, with 22 oceanfront acres offering the perfect mix of exceptional resort accommodations and classic Hawaiian hospitality. Sink into the widest stretch of white sand in Waikiki: a serene beachfront lagoon, lush tropical gardens with exotic wildlife and cascading waterfalls, majestic views of Diamond Head and stunning sunsets - plus more than 18 restaurants and lounges, 90 shops and services, a spa and much more.
Highlights
  • Marvel at the beachfront Paradise Pool with Waikiki's longest waterslide or wade in a real oceanfront lagoon
  • Poolside Polynesian revue and free beachfront fireworks show every Friday night
  • Connect kids with Camp Penguin, offering on-property activities and offsite adventures
Location
The resort spreads out along the western edge of Waikiki beach, where the sand is widest and the water shallow and safe for kids. Take the beachfront boardwalk to the U.S. Army Museum, a few minutes away, or walk another few minutes to the heart of Waikiki. In the other direction, Hawaii's largest shopping center, Ala Moana, is an easy 15-minute stroll.
Rooms
Five graceful towers ring the resort with a total of nearly 3,000 rooms and plenty of city, mountain and ocean views. Each tower is unique, but all feature bright, contemporary rooms with private balcony, Hilton Serenity Collection Bed and Bedding, high-speed internet access (fees apply), television enabled for various entertainment modes, and refrigerator. Select towers feature their own swimming pools and sundecks.
Dining

Choose from 18 dining and bar options. Tropics Bar & Grill is one of Waikiki's best new beachfront hangouts, with fresh Island dishes, live musicians and sinful sunset views. Lappert's offers Hawaii's best ice cream (must-try flavor: Kauai Pie). The Waikiki Starlight Luau is an all-evening adventure held under the stars.
Recreation
  • Paradise Pool, 10,000 square feet of slides and swimming
  • Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, a 5-acre saltwater lagoon
  • Camp Penguin, a day camp for kids ages 5-12
  • The offshore Atlantis Submarine, diving to 120 feet for views of reef life
  • Spirit of Aloha Catamaran, offering a variety of sailing adventures

Best hotel ever!

While we were not in the beachfront building, our room was more than adequate with comfortable bed, very clean accommodations. The front desk staff were always glad to assist us in any way. We had a late day flight and were able to use a hospitality room to shower and change late in the day. Coffee in room was very good, but beware a $30/day resort fee charged at check in and parking fee is $33/day valet, $27/day park yourself and parking is not so near the building. The food is very expensive but an ABC convenience store saved the day for us. All in all, this is a gorgeous place to stay.

Perfect

This hotel is in a wonderful location, there is a ton to do in the village and they make it very easy to get around to other locations also. The pools are great, the lagoon is nice. Everyone that worked in the hotel and all the shops and restaurants were very nice and make you feel very welcome. I would recommend anyone to visit this hotel as we had the best vacation ever at this hotel. Our first room was very loud due to construction, but the hotel moved us and upgraded our room without question. Just a wonderful hotel all around.

If you are planning on going somewhere that you aren't taking a shuttle, take TheBus. It's only $2.50 a person and very easy to figure out the routes. The hotel recommended us to take a taxi and it was crazy expensive, we figured out thebus and ended up going downtown much more and felt it was much easier to get around.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki

I just came back from the HHV. overall it was pleasant experience at hilton hawaiian village. location is very good, you are right next to waikiki beach and you can use all the hotel facilities while at it. It is huge place and beautiful too, a lot of stores and good restaurants, of course they are all over priced but which is expected. However, if you don't like busy traffic and super high parking rate, you shouldn't come here. Not just this hotel, you should avoid waikiki area all together. be aware of resort charge of $31 a day, and if you use their parking garage, overnight self parking is $27. so you could be paying extra $60 or so every night you stay there (other hotels got similar price) It was ex[ensive but I did it for peace of mind. I thought about parking in ala moana shopping center, but I heard some horror story about parking in public, which is dangerous in hawaii. but overall hilton hawaiian village left me good impression. only negative experience I had was that they overcharged me without any explanation, which I am going to call and find out soon.

restaurants inside hotel are little too expensive for what they are (they are tasty but not worth the money) There are a lot of other super good restaurants that are affordable and delicious all around hotel with in 30 min walk distance. Food court in ala moana shopping center is awesome too (super crowded)

Hilton Hawaiian

Everything was outstanding from the initial greeting to check out. The service staff were all very kind and courteous. The hotel is right on the beach and a very short walk to the heart of Waikiki. There sre also many places to shop and eat on the grounds and minutes away. 5 Star experience.

All you want if you can handle some crowds

Hilton Hawaiian Village has all you could want, and then some, such that you never need to leave the property. It is BIG, and that means crowds, but it never seems overcroweded and there doesn't seem to be a long line for anything. Very kid friendly, including the beach, which is protected from big surf.

Vacay Trip

Hilton Hawaiian Village was awesome! They offer a lot of amentities and have a lot of activities throughout the resort. The only negative was I had asked a staff where tours get picked up and he directed me to the great lawn but in fact where we needed to be was by the Tapa tower pickup instead for the larger tour. Guess its not his fault but we did end up not making the tour and not getting our money back. The tour company said they had contacted Hilton to get ahold of us and supposedly they couldn't. So now were out $164 for a tour that is free in the first place. An FYI to tourist- Pearl Harbor is free. First come first serve, be weary of tours offering it as part of a package like we were fooled. Other then that the hotel was really clean.

Amazing vacation

This was our first time to Oahu and it was the best experience ever! The locals treat so well and go out of their way to make sure you have the best time their. We did quite a few excursions and they were all amazing. The only downfall was I paid $65 for the diamond head crater hike which should have been a lot cheaper. I would say definitely rent moped and cruise around the island and Paradise Cove was the best. Overall it was amazing my husband and I had the best time!!!!!
