THE ENTIRE STAFF AT MAILE SKY WERE FANTASTIC AND EXREMELY HELPFUL WITH WHATEVER I NEEDED AND I LOVED BEING SO CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN WAIKIKI(ABOUT A $5 CAB RIDE) THE ROOM WAS A BIT SMALL BUT IF YOUR BY YOURSELF OR A YOUNG COUPLE IT WAS NOT BAD. I ONLY SPENT TIME IN THE ROOM TO SLEEP AS MY DAY WAS FILLED WITH PLENTY TO DO. IF YOU WANT HINTS ON WHERE TO EAT AND WHAT TO DO JUST ASK THE STAFF AND THEY WIILL GLADLY HELP!!!!

Hotel was clean and was fairly comfortable. But they need to have quieter a/c and change their comforter. There was places on the comforter that was ripped and looked like was stitched in other places.

If you don't want to stay in the heart of Waikiki (we did not), but close enough that you could walk to it, then this is the hotel for you! It was the perfect location for us! On our first night we went out to eat and returned to a note under our door stating an emergency occurred and the hot water would be "intermittent." Well, we had no hot water that night nor the next morning, but we had to proceed with our vacation activities. Upon return (2nd night) we had hot water, but the pool was closed due to am emergency. No mention of either upon check-out nor any compensation offered.

For a person traveling on their own, the room at Maile was good. The room was clean, with a coffee pot and a refrigerator in the room. The pool and jacuzzi were located on the fifth floor, with a great view of the city. Leaving the hotel, it was centrally located on Kuhio, easy to make my way to shopping and attractions. WiFi was only available in the lobby, however.

I've stayed at Aqua hotels before and they were a good value. This one, not so much. The room was serviceable, but, even though they have you sign their non-smoking policy statement, the room stank of stale tobacco smoke. The free newspaper at the front desk was a nice touch, but the $6 charge for in-room internet access contradicts their "modern" marketing persona.

Small cramped rooms. Uncomfortable beds and pillows. Ancient TV in room that was complained on 3 times, either pic or sound with go, bad connections and they refused to properly fix it. No, not in HI to watch TV but after a long day it would be nice to be able to kick back and not have to get up every 5 minutes to jack around with connections. Other guests had same TV problem. Coffee maker poured out all over the place as soon as water was put in and when they replaced the maker they were to cheap to replace the coffee packet which they charge you a dollar each for after the first one is used. Bath and sink drain at a ridiculously slow pace. LOUD SLAMMING doors that even if one of the jerk guests at this place tried to close quietly, can't be done. I promise you these slamming doors will get your attention. I stay at hotels accross the USA, this was the worst and by a pretty long shot. Moved to another hotel with 3 days to go, BW near airport, nothing to do right there but a much better hotel. Not a person that fills out these surveys but there was no way I was paiing this one up. You are warned.

As a former guest of an Aqua resort hotel I was not superised that the quality, comfort, price, and location was just as I expected from a Aqua resort hotel. I will sure recommend to anyone that staying at any Aqua Resort cause they won't be disappointed. The only down side was the rain. LOL Thanks Aqua Resorts I'm glad that you care for your guests like family. Aloha mack

great location but the whole place could use an up grade. The bothrooms are small and VERY time worn. The staff is quick and responsive to whatever need you may have abnd they deserve a better place toshow off their skills .

I booked a room with 2 beds and asked for a roll away if possible. when i got there they gave me a room with only one bed. for 3 people. they did give a roll away after my arguing. also bed extremely hard and pillows too. charged extra for parking. Only good side was gave my son free internet in lobby to do homework. and pay-per-view movies reasonable. all in all could have been better.

hotel is located in a good location to walk or bike to anywhere in waikiki and honolulu. The only thing I didnt like was there was no free coffee in-room....only for the first night, but after that was a $1.00 charge per pot. Good service by all employees. would go back to this hotel.
