Awesome Hawaii Trip
Duke's restaurant & bar was great, nice people, walk out to the beach great, lots of shopping, dinning. Great location to most anything, always a shuttle or bus near by as well. The hotel was going thru renovation at the time of our stay, so one day we did not have hot water from 9am to 5pm and we were not real happy about that. We thought they would accommodate us, but they did not. But, overall we had a great stay!! The cleaning ladies were awesome!!!!!! The concierge's need to be more knowledgeable!!! I think it will be an even more awesome place once the renovation is complete! I would still consider it a 4 star hotel!!

Perfect location on Waikiki Beach
Awesome hotel. Undergoing renovations, but not distracting at all. Pool was not open due to renovations, but we were able to use the pools at two other nearby hotels. Duke's is the best. Get there early for a table. Can't say enough nice things about this property. This was our 2nd time staying here and although our room this time was not as good as our previous visit, it was still pretty good. Couldn't get the room we wanted but the staff accommodated us and turned 2 double beds into one HUGE California King bed. It was awesome. Can't go wrong staying at this hotel.

Convenient to all of Waikiki
Waikiki beach and shops are all convenient to this hotel. The staff are all congenial, friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at this hotel every year for the past three years and the quality is consistent.

Pretty good hotel
The availability of decent channels on the TV's needs to be upgraded. There are many channels that are a waste of time, and few that are worth watching. Put in a satellite dish that allows viewing decent shows and sports.

Marvelous 25th Anniversary
Everything was fine, however, it would have been much better if they had cable television, which would have provided movie channels.

Decent Hotel
I LOVED the location of this hotel. Its right on Waikiki beach and is walking distance to some great shopping and restaurants downtown. The hotel is decent, however, I could tell that the hotel is a bit dated. Maybe that's why its undergoing renovation. I got a discounted rate to stay at this hotel because of the renovations, which sort of made of up for the outrageous $30/day hotel parking fee. Besides the paper thin walls, noisy construction during the day, and expensive parking, overall I was pleased with my stay here.

Had a great time anyway
Mediocre hotel in excellent location
Rooms area bit small, beds are average, you have to swipe a room key to use the elevators which gets annoying, small gym with a decent view, Duke's on the first floor has great food and really good prices especially for being right on the beach, the Outrigger is in the direct center of Waikiki Beach, aimed at somewhat younger crowd, bands by the pool nearly every afternoon but also means they close the pool/spa around 3 or 4pm., staff are great, decent shops downstairs, also right across the street from the International market. May stay there again but prefer a couple other hotels a bit more then walk over and eat at Duke's.

Duke's is great for any meal, on the beach, inexpensive, great food but if you want some of the best food in Waikiki go to the Halekulani's House Without A Key without a reservation or Halekulani's Orchids with a reservation.
