My experience at this hotel. The website does not tell you everything about their amenities, beware of unmentioned charges. Such as parking fee $15.99 per day. WiFi and room internet not so good, but it's free.

Wailana Coffee House. Great food at a reasonable price. Breakfast: The Irish Breakfast Dinner: The Meatloaf Special.

Ideal to get over jet lag and explore Waikiki
Spacious, very clean room with many extras including fast internet connection. Only minus point was that voices from the neighboring room were clearly audible, perhaps because there was a (locked) connecting door; also noise from the (back) street came through. Room staff was accommodating to my wishes. Bus stop (several lines to Waikiki beaches and Diamond Head) is virtually in front of the hotel. Ala Moana shopping center and Waikiki "Golden Shopping Mile" are within walking distance. Overall a good deal.

It was a comfortable stay!
The location is perfect. The bus stop is right at the entrance. The hotel staff is very helpful. They even called our airport shuttle for us when it was a few minutes late! Our room was kept very clean every day.

Helpful Staff
We had a good stay at Ramada Plaza Waikiki. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. They had good insider tips as well about Hawaii.

Directly across Ala Moana Blvd was a great shopping village with many small shops and restaurants. And behind that village was the Hilton Lagoon, a very nice walk on the beach.

comfortable, convenient place to stay
Stayed here 3 nights and loved it. It was quiet and comfortable. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so you can easily get around. Hilton Hawaiian Village with restaurants/stores and a beach is across the street. You can easily take the bus to Waikiki beach, Ala Moana shopping center (good food court & so many stores) and beach there. I took the bus to Kailua beach too, though it's kinda far. Another time I'd rent a car at one of the rental car places within two blocks. Family-friendly area. I arrived in the morning, but the front desk staff kept my luggage and later let me check in 4 hours early. They were helpful with everything. I liked the workout room and laundry rooms. Pool was small, but I mostly went to beaches. The concierge arranged a $9 return shuttle to the airport. The hotel let me stay an hour beyond check-out time and stored my luggage in the afternoon before my flight. Was glad I chose this hotel!

Enjoyable Trip
A friendly staff, helpful with any questions. Good location for activites and public transportation. Reasonable price and a nice room without the extra expense for a quality, comfortable room.

For food that is good and reasonable price, the diner down on the road, family own is very good, it's just down from the IHOP.
