Comfortable, clean, friendly and helpful staff.
Everything was made easy except finding the office which is located in the shopping mall nearby. We asked to be moved from second floor to third floor after first night due to noisy neighbors above and lack of insulation between floors. I would stay here again but only on a top floor unit. The staff did a great job!

ENJOYED A FAMILY REUNION AND WEDDING. VISITED HILO AND THE VOLCANO TRIP. WENT TO ALL THE BEACHES AND SNORKELED. BEST WAS NITE LIFE IN KONA. KONA BREWERY WAS A GREAT FAMILY OUTDOOR TROPICAL RESTRAUNT. HILTON VILLAGE AT WIOELIA WAS THE BEST FOR SUNSET DINING I FELT

Excellent Condos on the big island
The condos are excellent equipped with all you need - toaster, rice cooker, big fridge, etc. etc., they even have gas bbq grills for guests close to the pool and a supermarket in walking distance. You can use the beach at the Marriot which is also in walking distance - we stayed there already the second time and we loved it. Definitely much better than most of the worn out Hotels from the 1980ies...

Quiet and peaceful
The unit was spacious enough for two people. The bedroom and bathroom were large. We had no noise from other units while we were there. I dropped my wallet at night near my car. The next morning it was found by a gardener and returned promptly before I realized it was missing. The beach is nearby and two shopping centers with restaurants so it was very convenient. I would recommend this condominium complex.

Excellent for the price
We stayed at the Ourigger Fairway Villas condos for 7 nights for Spring Break. [...] it was well worth it! I've stayed at the Bay Club in Waikoloa before (it's nicer, but pricier). Fairway Villas overlooks either the golf course (which we did) or the lake between King's shops and the condos. You're not going to find a reasonably priced condo with an Ocean View in Waikoloa. But with A-Bay (the beach) within a couple minutes walk, we didn't miss out. The lanais (balconies) are large enough for a table and four chairs. We ate breakfast out on the lanai every morning. Our room had newer kitchen appliances (the refrigerator was very cold - frozen milk is hard to drink, and the microwave cooked in half the time) and includes nice washer/dryer. Our master bedroom wasn't connected to the lanai, but the bathroom was very large and included a walk-in closet. A/C worked well, but the cross-breeze was great, too. The staff restocks supplies every three days. An onsite (smaller) infinity pool and hot-tub are nice for a quick refresher. The fitness room (well, it's more of a modern cabana) only has a few machines, and I didn't see anyone using them. Actually, the place seemed pretty quiet even though I'm told it was booked. Overall, we recommend it for Waikoloa on a budget. This isn't the Hilton Waikoloa Village, but that's pretty over-the-top in my opinion. Having an independent condo experience was our goal. Aloha!

Short drive from hotel
Drive up the hill to Waikoloa village (about 10 minutes or less) to do your grocery shopping. Comparatively cheaper than the market in the resort. A MUST - if you don't own a copy of "Hawaii - The Big Island Revealed" by Andre Doughty and Harriett Friedman, you NEED to get it. Besides us, there were lots of people making good use of the hints, ideas, and descriptions the book gives you. We used it every day multiple times. Take it everywhere with you.

Nice gardens, units vary
Our family of four had a twelve day stay. Two teenage boys. We opted for 3 bedroom 2 bath unit. The resort was lovely. Nice pool, gorgeous grounds. Our first night we were placed in a unit that was not anything like the pictures [...]. The unit's rugs were organically dirty. There were holes in the granite counter-tops, the microwave didn't work. We called the Outrigger office who did move us the next day to a gorgeous, well decorated unit. Terse office staff: No reimbursment offerred. You only get one chance to make a good first impression, they missed.

The Queen's Village Shop convenient for groceries but Mucho expensive. Costco has good prices on food and the cheapest on gas. Near the airport 40 minutes away. Snorkel Bob's offers low rates on weekly gear rental and is near Costco.
