The hotel was in a good location with easy access to the highways and downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I got two great nights of sleep. This hotel is a good deal.

Basic, basic, basic
Hotel was good, nothing outstanding. They have done a good job of restoring the hotel after the flooding in '08, you will not notice. There is nothing remarkable about the hotel, it is your basic stay. Little disappointed that they still have not upgraded TV's to flat panel, but that's a very minor detail. The wireless connected effortlessly. Be aware that this hotel is on the other side of the river from downtown.

The dining options are MUCH better in nearby Iowa City (~20 min. drive). Well worth the trip.

Best Western Cooper's Mill
Had a medical procedure and had to stay overnight. Didn't sleep that well because of procedure, but when I was finally able to sleep, my husband and I were awaken by some sort of maintenance/construction on the roof at 7:15 a.m. The vibration knocked some of our belongs to the floor.

Great Place to Stay
Well maintained, comfortable bed, and a good restaurant as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Cedar Rapids.

I am not a picky person but even though I had a non smoking room the entire floor wreaked. The guy in the room adjacent smoked into the wee hours (and coughed the rest). Some chucklehead from the staff came up to tinker with the ice machine outside my door, at 4:00 am
