Overall experience was good. Room was average, had a problem with heater kicking on and off every three minutes. Breakfast could of had more of variety. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We got to the hotel after snow fall a few days previous, and the lot was not very clear. Our room smelled like smoke, which I did not have a chance to request a smoke free room. Very small room with two queen beds. For the price, we were ok for the one night, if it would have been two nights, the four of us would have had to find a different hotel. I think because it was a smoking room, I felt it was dirty.

Could hear noise upstairs and outside throughout night. T.v. screen broken. Clean, but needed some updating. Tiny bathroom. Nice to have extras like minifridge and microwave. Good for a place to stay but that's about it. STaff were fine.

The room that I selected for the best rate was a handicapped room. It was quiet and fairly clean. The bed was comfortable. The room rate was under $80/N so I have no complaint there. The hotel is well located. There are many other hotels around it. Convenient for travel. The bed side light was burnt out (not checked by room attendant) for the week. My room key card had to be reswiped at the desk for two days. The breakfasts were OK but the toaster burnt toast on a setting of 1 1/2. I had a nonsmoking room but people smoked at a waiting area outside and the smoke got pulled in through the wall air conditioner.

Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good.

This motel is just off I380 and close to downtown Cedar Rapids. Easy access to the freeway and 6th Street. The room I got had a King Bed, a bit soft, Mini Refridgerator and a small microwave oven. One item worth noting is that the motel did install the extended bowed tub/shower curtain that gives greater room elbow room in the tub/shower. Each room does include wireless internet access. There is a PC in the lobby with limited internet access; available for those without a laptop. On this PC you can check your email via a web interface or confirm airline reservations. The continental breakfast that is included is on par with other Motel chains that offer a continental breakfast. Typical breakfast offers such choices as: waffles, sweet rolls, english muffins, bagels, juice and coffee.
