Nice stay
I only stayed one night. Staff was friendly and courteous. My only qualm was that the pool was closed due to remodeling. My children were disappointed. Overall the stay was good. The breAkfast was great.

Best Hotel in CR
Really liked this hotel. Great service for Thanksgiving weekend. Only complaint is that the pool was a little cold and although there's a hot tub, some family took over the hot tub and their kids were making a roucous. But obviously it was A Turkey Day gathering so that wouldn't be common on another visit.

Great service!
My friends and I do a Minor League Roadtrip every summer, and often stay at Holiday Inn Express. [...] was working the front desk, and she took care of our every question and request. The room was spotless, our request for a roll-away bed was not only handled instantly, they didn't charge us for it. Will definitely book here on our next trip to Cedar Rapids. And the coffee at the complimentary breakfast was excellent.My only complaint: no fresh fruit at the breakfast. But this is minor compared to everything else being great.

The Third Base Brewpub (on Blairs Ferry Road, a ten minute walk or five minute drive--but given the lack of sidewalks, I'd advise driving if you have (as we did) a designated driver) was excellent. Great beer, great food, great service. Get the pulled pork sandwich.

Great staff..Great Stay
Great hotel!!! The Staff was excellent and accomadating and so helpful. They don't have a microwave in the lobby and the front desk said they would heat in the back with their microwave. They demonstated this several times through out of our stay. Rooms were very clean and in the room they had personalized messages from the Housekeeper stating to have a great time while staying with Holiday Inn and Suites. Very nice and welcoming.

we were there on a business trip and we enjoyed the stay here very much. The beds seemed hard but everything was very clean and the breakfast was fantastic! I would definately come back!

We were in town for one of our kids' events. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was far above the free breakfast at other hotels--omelets, hot cinnamon rolls and lots of other good food. Good value.

A Great Place to Stay
The hospitality was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and whirpool were warm and were my own personal pool for awhile. The hotel was next to a great place to have dinner and drinks. The hotel was also near the hightway and shopping malls.

Best Staff!!!
I must say that the staff made this hotel. Its a so nice to have people out there that truely care and go above and beyond. They were extremely friendly and even observing then the next morning set up the kitchen area they were polite and went out of there way to make request. The rooms were also spacious and well appointed for the price.
