Fine Hotel
Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good restaurant, though a little on the pricey side. Need a car- hotel is surrounded by a field. Bare bones workout room, but nice pool and hot tub. Overall, nice pleasant stay. This hotel was on the upper end for the price. From what I saw, I could have been in a less expensive hotel that is a dive or one that is nicer, but $100 more a night.

Radisson Des Moines
The hotel was clean with spacious rooms. Furniture is becoming a little dated but overall fine. Clean bathroom, safe area, very close to airport and great mini bus service to airport (the guy also dropped us downtown one night at no charge). Nice pool and hot tub. About 10 minute drive to downtown Des Moines

Great Hotel
The Hotel was very nice. Employees were very helpful and the food was great. The rooms were comfortable and quite. Overall I'd highly recommend this Hotel for business travelers.

Really enjoyed the warm indoor pool. Included breakfast buffet was the best I've had at a hotel with an omelet station, bacon, potatoes, scrambled eggs, pastries, fruit, cereal, etc. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely choose the Radisson again.

Great location next to airport
Was first concerned being right next to the airport. Was never bothered by the sound of planes and didn't even notice it other than a few times during the day. Clean, good amount of space in the room. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to anywhere in Des Moines.

Disappointing for a Radisson
Select Comfort bed did not work Room service was delayed until guest rooms were cleaned for incoming guests--very late in day before bed made, towels replaced, etc. Guests staying over pay same for room and should have same service! Towels and cups not always replaced in room. Breakfast buffet was only mediocre--omelet bar was never staffed or offered even though it was set up. It was very quiet and the hotel was very accommodating in allowing grandchildren hotel privileges. Rooms were clean, but were not as update as one would expect at a Radisson. We were disappointed in as much as we expected more at an up scale motel.

Des Moines Farmers Market on Saturday is a treat and should not be missed! Bass Pro Shop is also worth a visit as is the Living History Farm! Blank Park Zoo is a fun place to take children and is very near the hotel--it is small, but interactive--and can be seen in a couple of hours.

checked in to find that we were given a handicaped room. lots of open space but not enough chairs to sit on and bathroom was not for normal occupants. after we complained twice, they did give us a regular room. johnny's italian steak house was attached and staff was not very friendly,

Perfect Business Spot for Women
I have returned to this hotel each of the 3 times I travel to DesMoines. It is minutes from the airport, has a great restaurant right at the hotel that offers wonderful seating for someone eating alone. Beds are "sleep number" type beds. Linens and towels are great. Nice size room. Free wireless. Free breakfast. This hotel is how I "treat" myself after a long business engagement. Complimentary water bottles in the room.
