Very Nice Hotel !!!!!

Very Nice Hotel, great value, well kept up for an older motel. The directions we got were not good, we got lost and found it by accident !!!!

Hotel Stay

Great value for the price every thing else I looked at was at least twice the price. A little hard to see from the road but the sing really helped out and like and good value it was worth the search.

Never stay here its a MOTEL not a HOTEL

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stepped foot in. This is a MOTEL not a hotel by any means. We didn't even stay there, the place was so bad. The staff was not helpful, the room was dirty (we had to change rooms twice before we decided to go somewhere else without a reimbursement). There were greasy hand prints on the door, it was terrible. At all cost avoid this motel unless that's what you are looking for. Even if the room was free I still wouldn't stay there. Worst experience I had ever had.

Dubuque Stay Over

I enjoyed my stay in the Days Inn. The staff memebers were wonderful. I really enjoyed the location in commute to the university. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Disappointing

The room was musty smelling, the overstuffed furniture was damp-feeling and there was a spider web in the shower. The continental breakfast, however, was very good. The beds were clean.

Avoid

The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning unit started out loud, but by the end of a multi day stay sounded like a plane propellor. The toilet tank ran,never quite filling unless you manually took the top off and pushed down the stopper.We reported it as soon as we arrived. It was never fixed, and ran like a falls periodically (perhaps when another toilet flushed?). The shower ran cold water without warning, making it a challenge to shower and shampoo. The last day we woke to black goo in the sink. All were reported, but not a word of "sorry" was spoken. Would not recommend at all. If we had not prepaid we would have left after the first night.

Had a wonderful meal at Europa (?) House, a German bar. It is not in the downtown but worth the mile or two!

days inn dubuque

The experience was good. Besides the casinos, the hotel bar had entertainment until 130am. Continental breakfast was adequate. Only big con was you can hear almost everyone who walks by the door because of the concrete walkways. the toilet paper in the bathroom was also a little rough.

both casinos are a short distance from the hotel, but double check the shuttle times. The hotel told us the last shuttle was at 200am but the casino said 130am so we had to take a cab home. we waited over 30 minutes for the cab.
