The best place to stay in Iowa city
We had a great time here. The room was amazing. We came in with the floor to ceiling windows, a feather bed, and full kitchen. We requested a high floor and got a room on the top. The room was clean and we loved the Eco touches, like in-room recycling and green toiletries. The staff was very nice and gave us an extra hour to check out, and a box of dishes we could use. The bed was divine. The only annoyance was the sound of the heater, it was loud. The room service from the adjacent restaurant was NOT good. The roast beef was very strange, the roll was rock hard, the fruit was not ripe.

The Bread Market through the lobby was amazing! They had a hot bar and every type of grocery food you could want, with an emphasis on organic and natural. With the full kitchen in the room, you can cook and prepare anything you want, and save up for a nice dinner!

Loud and over priced
I was staying at the hotel because I was taking a certification exam the following morning. I asked the Hotel staff to make sure I was put in a quiet room so that I could study and get a good night sleep. The hotel is on a busy street in Iowa City and was loud all night, not to mention the street lights were not kept out by the "room darkening" shades. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly.

Spacious Room
It was a nice and modern room. Nice bathroom and kitchen. Very spacious. It it a little pricy.
