Pictures misleading...
This hotel did not live up to the Ramada name. Rooms are small and the hotel smells like old, stale smoke. Our towels may have been clean, but the stains on them made them less than desirable. We also had wet carpet caused by some sort of leak. The front desk wasn't willing to do much, even though a cell phone and camera may have been damaged. If I travel to Sioux City again, I will find a different hotel!

Convenient location
The location was great and easy to find, right off the highway. It was close to the events we were attending. Clean however there was a musty odor to the entire hotel, perhaps related to the pool (outdoor) or maybe the outside humidity? Very quiet despite being right downtown.

Good price for tight budgets
I was visiting as a craft show vendor and looking for a hotel close to the Convention Center but at a good price. I found this one and it was very nice. The rooms were comfortable, quiet but it had a very small bathroom. The breakfast was good. The biggest problem I had with this hotel is; it is too close to the railroad tracks. A train came through at 4am and scared all of us in my party. Otherwise it is a very good hotel for those on a tight budget and want a quiet and undisturbed stay.

If you are there for business in the downtown area this hotel is a better value than others in the area for the same kind of service.

Overnight stay
The location of the Ramada was nice, since we were downtown. The room way comfortable enough, nothing too extraordinary, but nothing absolutely terrible either (unless you count the blood on the light switch in the bathroom!!! Gross!!!). Check in was supposed to be at 2:00, and we were in a wedding party in Sioux City, so we were able to get to our hotel to check in after pictures were taken at 4:00. The room was still not available and we were told 10 more minutes till it would be ready. We had the wedding to get back to, so we had to check in after the reception when we were done with the wedding. I just wanted to go to bed after the long day. So after we got there, checked in and went to the room, we were given the wrong room! We had gotten a king, and were given two doubles. They did get us the right room right away without any trouble, but we should have gotten the right room to begin with. Also, the rooms had very thin walls. Three in the morning, after closing time at the bars and those that had been drinking came in, we could hear them very loudly shouting and yelling and it seems like they were jumping from overhead. But it wasn't too bad, as we were able to turn on our air conditioner, which was even louder than they were! So at least the drunks weren't as bad....

Great Place for Family
We have Family in the area and this is our 2nd year staying here. Staff is very friendly. Would be nice to have some kid games for evening entertainment. Close to all and within walking distance to downtown area. For an inexpensive and comfortable place to stay I highly recommend. Full buffet breakfast daily which the kids love. Same stuff everyday although, the food is good.

Not to bad, great price
Came to Sioux City for the 4th of July. Booked this hotel the morning of the 4th on Orbitz. The hotel is in a great location one block from the Tyson Events Center, 4 blocks from the bars and a shuttle will take you to the casinos. Walked in the front door of the hotel and it did smell musty or not clean. This was OK since when we checked in the hotel staff could not find my reservation, so they ended up giving us the room for a lot cheaper, on a Saturday night. The rooms were a little cramped, but as long as you spend your time at the local attractions it is a great place to get some sleep.

Nightlife tip:
In Hotel
The sign on the hotel says the bar is back, but it's not. They only have a hotel bar Monday through Thursday. They should have it on the weekends too.
