Super 8 Sioux City South

The room was great and the place was full. It was quiet and the motel is close to the interstate. From there everything is close by. Bed spread was dirty, but we throw it in the corner anyway. Breakfast was toast and cofffee or you make your own waffle or cereal. Will most likely stay there again as this was our second stay here already.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The price was reasonable. The breakfast was really just toast and cereal. Or waffles.Didn't eat there anyway. It is right by the interstate but very quiet! The beds were firm and the reception help was pleasant. We will stay there again.

The evening and night were ok but the buisness next door has an early morniing shift with an outdoor high lift, that loudly goes beep beep beep, beep beep beep, ect, ect, when it backs up from about 6:00 a. m. on. Unless your an early riser, a very sound sleeper or deaf this might be a problem for you. It was for us. We had booked ahead of time a king sized bed in a handicap room, they didn't realized it was supposed to be handicap until we got there so we ended up in queen sized bed with the handicap when we got there. Also the bed was way to soft for us. The staff were very helpful and friendly though!

We were passing through, going to Fargo, North Dakota, from Kansas, and found this hotel to be empty so we stayed here. First thing's first: price. You really do get what you pay for at this hotel. We walked in and immediately felt crowded in their little two-person lobby, before we even got room keys. Standing there, I did not notice any smell or anything else out of the ordinary. So, we drove around to the back of the building and started unloading our bags and were greeted by nothing but a giant cloud of smoke which seemed to linger in the hallways, and faintly into the guest rooms. Anyway. The room was nothing short of average. The beds were hard and not very comfortable, the pillows were lumpier than potato soup - not to mention flatter than a pancake (like all of my food references?). The only thing that was really likable about this hotel was the fact that it was quiet once the night got on. I was expecting noise considering I had previously spotted many children on the floor above us. Breakfast was a nightmare. First off, it is NOT a breakfast unless you at least have fresh fruit. There are some of use that only eat a banana or apple for breakfast, and we are good for the rest of the day. All they had for breakfast was juice, some really stale, chewy muffins, a toaster with nothing to put in it, and cereal that tasted like it had been in the dispenser for months. Will not stay here again, would not recommend it.

We just spent the night on the way to the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore.

We stopped overnight while passing through town and had a very nice stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean.

Everyone was very courteous

The hotel was clean, but it had a strong smoke smell in the hallways. The beds were not comfortable at all. The location was good and the staff friendly. The room looked clean but had a funny odor. It seemed to be coming from the carpet.

The bed was great, more comfortable than the last 3-star hotel in which we stayed.

Checked in late and the room met our expectations and lived up to the reviews that I checked before making the reservations.
