NOT HAPPY WITH [...] OR HOTEL
[...] I CHECKED IN THUR. SEPT.30TH. My husband and some friends decided to come up from Twin Falls and catch a concert in Boise so we needed a room just for the evening. I purchased our room a week ahead of time and paid $103 through [...] thinking I would get the best deal. We suggested to the other couple joining us to purchase a room so they would not have to drive. They purchased their room that very afternoon and only paid $66 dollars. Now I do realize they only stayed in a one bed room with a king, but I paid $37 dollars more for one more bed AND I BOOKED A WEEK EARLIER! We were on the second floor and they were on the first. I was told my room was a deluxe,but actually on my [...] CONFIRMATION IT SAYS STANDARD ROOM! The furniture was particle board that was scratched up, the bathroom was tiny and the bathtub needed to be repaired. Also, we were woke up by an employee at 7am knocking on our door, which we were NOT happy about, she told us our room showed vacant. What?? When I checked out I mentioned the room issue I had and I was told Well, if we have rooms we haven't gotten rid of we give them away for cheaper. What!? I PURCHASED A WEEK EARLIER! I will not stay here again and I will not use [...]. And frankly, I think I deserve my money back.

Still a great Hotel
Great Hotel and a great location. This is my second time staying here and I will gladly stay there again. I just found the bathroom to be VERY small and un-clean. I found hair on the floor and in the shower. Its not the end of the world, I just really like this place and hate having bad things to say.

Entertainment tip:
In Hotel
They had live music in the bar. A bunch of local Boise musicians getting together and playing acoustic songs. Really great times.

Classic Western Pleasure
What a gem. Had no idea hotels like this existed outside of the "big" cities. This place was classic. 100 yrs old and hasnt aged a bit. I was waiting for Humphry Bogart to walk down the hallway.

Short walk from hotel
Walk out of the front door...Turn right and go 2 blocks. Have fun choosing where to go. The downtown area is stocked with fun pubs and night clubs.

Owyhee Downtown Boise
Nice comfortable room. Located downtown which makes it easy to go for a walk and find a place to eat. I had chinese food, then came back to the hotel and prepared for the next day's business.

Location location
Nice quiet and clean hotel. Not fancy, but nice. It was the Sunday night after Thanksgiving and the whole downtown was quiet, nobody around. Football, pizza and a good night's rest.
