Rude owner and overcharged
The owner was incredibly rude at checking, but I let that go. 3 days later I also found out that he charged me $35 more than the rate on the receipt I signed. When I called to ask why, the response was that I was noisy. I am not sure if you can legally do that, but regardless, I would stay away

Nice room and great location
We stayed for two nights at this hotel and found it to be clean and comfortable. We were out of the room the whole time we were in Coeur d'Alene, so we just needed a place to sleep and the bed was super comfortable. The location was central to everything so you could park there and walk everywhere in the city. If you're not planning on spending time in your room, this is a nice place to sleep.

Falls Short of Expections
Chose this hotel after reading glowing reviews and was very disappointed. They must have been describing some other hotel. Definitely NOT worth the room rate. Parking was totally inadequate for anything but compact vehicles. No staff available for pre-arranged late check in. Reserved room was left open -- an unsafe situation. "Breakfast" was pathetic. Would not stay here again. Other hotels offer much more for same room rate. Shop around!

Orbitz booked a hotel that was full
Orbitz booked me a hotel back in Nov 2009 to a hotel that was full. Had to find my own hotel the day before my trip would begin.

Good Location
We reserved the room at the Resort City Inn because we were looking for a decent price near the Lake. We were within walking distance to several local establishments and the river boat cruise (which was the purpose of our visit to Coeur d'Alene). For us, it was only a place to sleep, and we will stay here again next year when we take the river boat cruise again. If you are looking for anything more, then this might not be the place for you.
