can walk to dollar mtn but not baldy. will need to take bus to baldy. very close to bike/hike path into downtown ketchum or for a long ride out of town.

Good for the price
Since this is actually a condo rental association and not a hotel it is hard to make a straightline comparison. You are not going to have someone cleaning your room everynight, but you have a kitchen if you're looking to cut costs on eating out every night. You'll also have a washer and dryer which is helpful if you're partaking in any of the snowsports in town. The condo that we got was a little outdated, but it served it's purpose perfectly. The one thing I will say, is I had never been to sun valley before and thought that the best place to be would be sun valley village. In reality, unless you're only going to and from Dollar Mtn (which is the more beginner mtn) being more in Ketchum might be more in the heart of it. That's not to say it makes a big difference, we had a car and it's literally less than 5 minutes to drive into Ketchum, but if you're walking it might be a hassle. All in all this place is everything I was looking for it to be, but I wasn't looking for the luxurious hotel, just a place to get away and ski.

Whiskey Jacques has dollar nights on Sundays and Tuesdays. Good atmosphere.

Nice Stay, happy with Condo,
Helpful staff, nice condo[...]. I searched for a hotel in Ketchum and the address used by the main leasing office is in Ketchum on Main Street. The condo assigned to us was in Sun Valley almost 10 miles away. We wanted to be close to our family and that is why we chose the this address. The stay was great just wish they said on their hotel site that locations can vary with rentals.
