Inn America Lewiston

The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but the hotel was under-staffed and the continental breakfast was horrible. There were just a few items offered and the milk was not even kept cold for the cereal! It was also difficult to get assistance at the front desk because the receptionist seemed to always be in the back folding laundry.

This was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it wasn't. The staff was very friendly, but the room stunk due to cigarettes.

The front desk staff was very nice, The sheets were not very clean looking and rough.The tub looked dirty. Beyond that the room was good.

The tiny bars of soap and the shampoo packets which hold little material and are hard to open put me off. This is the type of product I expect at a two star, e.g. Motel 6, chain. Other than that to staff was fine and the room was clean. The breakfast could have used a little more to make a big difference. Some scrambled eggs and some form of meat would have cost little and gone a long way. Mark

This hotel has been recently updated so it was very clean and somewhat stylish for this part of Idaho. The breakfast was ok but not quite as good as some hotels offer. There is the usual juice, fruit, coffee, muffins and make your own waffle machine. The coffee was just ok and made me want to go down the street to a starbucks. The bed was good and didn't give me a back ache like some hotels have. The room was a tad small for traveling with my spouse but overall was acceptable.

Was close to many things to do and places to eat. Good view of clarkston too

Our visit was just over night. The front desk was very cooperative and let us check in a little early since we were in town for a wedding. Room was clean and Motel was quite and had a nice view of the City.

We were in Lewiston to see our Grandaughter graduate Highschool. The American Inn was fine. Fairly clean but no TP the firist day. We had to go ask. When we checked in the man on duty was short and rude to us because they had but our two rooms booked at the same time on different floors very far apart. We ask to be put closer together or at least on the same floor. He said that it could not be changed [...]. In the end they did change it for us but would not speak to us. I would stay again but not if I did not have to. Good location.

We are looking forward to another weekend away in that little city. Our motel room started our weekend get away perfectly with a great room, clean and with every thing a person would need to make their stay comfortable. A great television and they had the food channel for me that is right up there with a shower. Oh my gosh I have to mention that they had a recliner in our room, WOW!! It was great. The only thing I could say that would have made our stay better would have been a better breakfast. But we can't have everything, I went out and brought breakfast back and we enjoyed it in our room. Yes we would stay in the motel again.

I was there 2 nights only to sleep and did not use any of their amenities. My rooms were very clean and the staff very courteous. I have one major complaint - they have spotlights all around the perimeter of the hotel, both at ground level and on poles the height of the second floor. The first night I was on the first floor with a spotlight right outside my window. Light shone in around the curtain and kept the interior of the room lit all night long - there was so much light coming into my room I couldn't tell if it was night or day. Needless to say, I did not sleep well. The next morning I asked to be moved and they moved me to the top (3rd) floor. Their reaction when I asked to move indicated that this was a typical request. My room was still lit up more than I would have liked but it was better than the night before and I had a good nights sleep.
