Comfort Inn Pocatello

Having stayed with Comfort Inn before I sort of knew what to expect. This branch, however, boasts one of the friendlier staffs. They actually are hospitable which is nice to see from a workforce in the hospitality business. The room was perfectly adequate for someone who did little more than sleep there and the overall cleanliness was above reproach, the housekeeping staff did a great job each day. The beds were quite comfortable, however, the pillows leave much to be desired unless you prefer a very soft unsupportive pillow. This hotel has great highway access which is a fancy way of saying that the on-ramp was right outside my window, but truly I did not hear the traffic. The hotel is located close to some fast food places and there is an abundance of gas station mini marts; there are plenty of hot dogs on rollers within walking distance. All said this is a fine place to stay if you don't mind fighting for one of the three or four tables in the breakfast area, and sleeping on a useless pillow. The staff will hear your concerns with a smile on their face and there is a gas station hot dog close by while you wait for a table.
