The hotel is very centrally located. Easy to walk to everything in town. I stayed in one of the older parts of the hotel. The room was very large and well equipped with fridge, microwave, desk ,extra seating area and large bathroom.
My room overlooked the park where the Farmer's Market is held on Saturdays May-Oct. My room was very quiet since it did not face the main street but it did have one of those older annoying ac/heater units that clunk on and off when used.
Room service was very prompt and delicious since it came from a local restaurant "Connies" which is located on the property.
Very nice stay in a very charming little town.
The motel is very dog friendly and Rocky enjoyed
his stay also.

everything was great- enjoyed everything the town offered , the lake, the restaurants were expensive though. just all the spiders webbing out on the patios aboove your head & filling up your boat.

The room was very nice, the breakfast was not great. The location was convenient to many things, but outside of the main business area of Sandpoint and not very scenic. The staff was nice but they need to pay more attention to things like keeping the breakfast room stocked and making sure rooms get cleaned. It was a good value but nothing special.

The hotel was accommodating and was all that I expected. It was clean (for the most part) and comfortable. There were not too many amentiies aside from the whirlpool - though I did not use it. The house keeping staff need to be more attentive as there was a dead fly on the bathroom floor for a few days. The ceiling smoke detector also fell out and I left on the bureau. Either the staff didn't see it or ignored it as it remained there for the last 3 days of my trip. The location is good and will only get better once construction is completed on the highway. The hotel is very close to the town center but due to the construction was not feasible to walk. Once the construction is complete it will be very accessible.

wonderful weekend getaway. Enjoyed beautiful Sandpoint and took in the sites of a winter resort during the summer months...just as entertaining and beautiful, minus the snow!

Description
The Inn at Sand Creek is a small 3 suite hotel located in Historic Downtown Sandpoint- we are within walking distance of all the fabulous shops- Panada Theater- City Beach- Lake Pend Oreille and much more. The Inn is only a few miles away from Schweitzer Ski Resort an all year round Resort. We also have our own Restaurant- The Sand Creek Grill which is a fine dinning restaurant. All our Suites have Queen beds- Fireplaces- your own bathroom- private lounge area- fridges- TV/VCR and coffee maker. Suite 3 is the larger Suite and has a full kitchen/Dinning room and views of the Lake and Mountains.

The location was great to area sights, shops, and resturants; the room was spacious and beautiful, the only drawback was lack of parking; you have to park on the street and then move your car before you are ticketed, then park several blocks away for the evening

When we checked in (via mail box in entry/ there is no staff) we found our room was actually moved across the street! It was a new, very clean, condo on the 3rd floor. It did have some lighting issues, but very well equipped and pleasant. There was a nice deck available to enjoy a glass of wine. Only downside for someone might be that the elevator didn't work. A wonderful Italian restaurant was downstairs and a Starbucks right across the street! We'd stay there again
