Friendly staff
Hotel was in need of maintenance. Not the best hotel we have stayed in but certainly not the worst. I would stay again if I needed too. Staff was very friendly. Good service. Rooms smelled a bit.

Dangerous Pool ARea
The rooms was old and dirty and hard bed, the doors were not sealed, bugs present and the pool was dangerous - I fell and hurt my knee and reported it to the desk and nothing was done and another child fell after I reported it

Nice interior rooms for the money
I booked an exterior access room because of its lower price, but it turned out to be much less nice than I expected. We approached the front desk about paying for an upgrade, and an employee gave us a much nicer interior room free of charge because we were unhappy. This was my first experience with this hotel chain, and I was impressed. The breakfast had hot items (waffles, biscuits and gravy) and the pool was nice, albeit unheated.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
The Flattop Grill in Normal, IL is a great experience that you can't get outside of Illinois/Indiana. It's a create-your-own stirfry restaurant. They also have a create-your-own breakfast; you can choose from pancakes, french toast, egg scrambles, or omelettes, and they have oatmeal, muffins, and fresh fruit as well.

Good Value
Our stay was on a Sunday night so it was probably quieter than usual. Hotel is located in a commercial area so location is not the reason to stay there, although shopping and places of interest are nearby with good directions. Our room was typical but could have been cleaner. One reason we did stay here was for the pool. It's good size and kept warmer than any other place we've stayed. Is that healthy? Don't know, but it was great to swim in. Not much sitting area around the pool though. Overall, the room was a great value for the $ we spent.

Creepy
I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was semi clean but on a ground floor with the door leading right to outside and the door was not sealed. You could see the light coming right through it, which means things can get it. Some girls baseball team decided to have batting practice at 8am right outside our door in the so-called courtyard, so needless to say we didn't get to sleep much. When we got back from our wedding reception, there were giant moths all over our door and of course one got in and we spent the next 15 minutes trying to kill it so we could sleep. This hotel was nasty, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

My review of Quality Inn & Suites
The Quality Inn was satifactory for our needs. The room was comfortable. They had an ironing board and iron in the room. There was also a hair dryer. We really didn't spend much time at the hotel but they did have a nice pool. They offered a free breakfast, but there was limited seating.
