Microtel Inn Champaign

Rooms are tiny, I reserved a non-smoking room, but I got a stinky smoking room. The staff was rude and blamed me for reserving on internet. Hallway carpets were dirty. The breakfast was unimpressive. There were people drinking in the parking lot. A big disappointment overall.

My semi broke down on I57 the tow truck driver dropped me off at this hotel. I was happy to have a place to stay while my truck was getting fixed. My dog and I stayed in a small single bed room on the first floor. I was glad to be near an exit so my dog and I could go for walks-we came and went as we pleased-nice fields surround this hotel-it looks like its in the middle of nowhere -thank god for delivery food. The Desk Agent had plenty of menus and options if you are ever there and need get stranded too. I would stay here again if my route ever permitted it. It was clean, quiet and affordable.

Came in on a cold night and received a warm welcome. Young lady at the Front Desk helped me get into a first floor room-even helped me through front door. Some times its hard being an elderly person traveling to get in and out of these places but not this one. I just wanted to say thanks to her for all her help! (and for the preheated room)

Ive been to Microtels before, this one is older but the rooms are typical (micro=small) built in furniture is cute, they tried to design it to be efficient. My room was clean, stayed 2 nights Staff was friendly, breakfast was adequate for price (38.00) I would stay here again, right off highway worked good for me traveling and wanting to get back on the road.

There were no surprises. The facility was absolutely what I expected, for the money.

For the price paid, this was a disappointing stay. The room was incredibly small. The bed was very uncomfortable. While the room had been cleaned, the decor and the furnishings were outdated and worn. Even though the room was clean, it didn't look like it.
