Just 3 miles from the University of Illinois main campus and 6 miles from the Veterinary School campus, and conveniently located off of I-74, this Red Roof is also just a quarter mile from Market Place Mall and a variety of restaurants, and 22 miles from Amish Country in Arthur, Illinois.

ok for short stay

The room was not very clean, smelled bad and the beds were very uncomfortable. The desk man was very nice. I did not need to utilize the room for anything more than a place to sleep so it worked out. This is a "enter from the outside" hotel. It was quiet and worked well for what I needed. I would not recommend or stay there again. The price was cheap and I was in and out.

Good location, right price

good for a short stay

Only stayed one night on the way to a different destination; this was right off the freeway and easy for us to find. Although it was right next to the freeway, I didn't hear any traffic noise in our room. The neighborhood seemed a little run-down at first appearance but the restaurant next door was fine and we had a good dinner there, and no problem walking there from the motel and back. This was okay for a short stay; wouldn't plan to stay for any extended period, though.

not fancy, but good value for the cost

Clean room with old furniture. Old style box TV. Decent shower. Beds are quite low to the floor and of average quality. Clerks were friendly. Overall very good value for the money.

Needs a make over

Good location but the rooms need to be buffed up. A fresh coat of paint and some new carpet would go a long way. A continental breakfast bar would be a nice upgrade but there is a Paneras right around the corner!

Fine for football

The hoteel is dirty, roads get into this hotel are dangerous because several big and deep holes could get you in troubles....

Great value!

The Champaign, IL Red Roof Inn is efficient, clean and convenient. Desk service was excellent. This is a great value for the money. Remember, no frills!

Good value

Clean, value priced motel for short stay. Easy access to highway and nearby shopping. Room was amazingly soundproof, no highway or neighbor noise whatsoever. If you need a clean, cheap place to stay in C-U this is it.
