Great location
Nice hotel at a good location. Got a great rate because the hotel is currently under renovations but it did not affect our stay at all. Staff was wonderful. Got half off parking rate! Can't beat the price and location!

A night on the town
We got a fantastic special on our room, which had a very comfortable bed and very nice amenities. We were able to walk over to the wedding we were attending at Trump Tower. Also appreciated the 3pm check in and 12 noon check out. Don't park at the hotel - parking one block away will save you $20 for the night.

Stayed here New Year's Eve, had to wear wristbands to get back in or be charged $75, then they didn't even check for them. No free wifi.

Weekend Getaway
The location is acroos the river from Michigan Avenue and although in the summer time that wouldn't be a problem, in the winter it is. It made the trip more of a detination so when you left the hotel you couldn't just walk around, you really had to have an area in mind and go from there. The one issue I ran into was that there was a distrubance [not a party, but yelling, screaming and banging on walls - and I wasn't the only guest to call about it] in the room next to us, to the point where we had to call security 4 times. Security did go to the room each time and it was finally resolve, but not after losing sleep and being aggravated.

Great hotel stay
We stayed 3 nights in the East tower which is currently undergoing rennovation so there were some minor inconveniences associated with avoiding the rennovation. However, the room was gorgeous - newly rennovated. The staff were all well-trained and responsive. Housekeeping was great. Easy to walk to theatre, Macy's, Magnificent Mile from the hotel. All in all - was a great experience.

Long walk from hotel
Go to Wishbone for breakfast on Washington - but take a bus or cab! Too far to walk in the cold!

Winter brake
Close to everything. However, it was under construction and there always seemed to be a line. I would have liked a parking package. I don't like the valet parking. Getting my car was a Hassle and they kept telling me how much I owed for that day. Also, I had to tip every time I turned around, so I had to think about making sure I got change whenever I purchased something so that would have cash to use for tips.
