Excellent family getaway
The rooms are awesome. Having two small kids the full kitchen came in handy. Great location, we were able to walk to navy pier, shopping, and excellent restaurants within 15 minutes. Staff was very friendly and accommodating allowing for late checkout (our train didn't leave until 4pm). Good breakfast selection available even for our picky eaters. Great time had by all. Will definitely stay again.

grandpa grandaughter first airplane trip
It was absolutely fabulous! Above anything I could have hoped for. In fact the highlight of the two night stay was the swimming pool on the 27th floor. The staff was exceptional with one desk individual taking time to assist me in printing my boarding pass for my return flight. To quote General MacArthur, "I will return."

weekend getaway
My husband and I went to Chicago to visit family. Residence Inn was perfect in every way!! Close to amenities, great restaurants, entertainment, etc.(Harry Cary's, House of Blues, etc), the room was very clean and comfortable. Did not take our children with but the families that we encountered looked happy with their stay. This was our second stay at Residence Inn in the past 5 months, lwe were definitely "not" disappointed, we will be back again!!

Great experience overall!
The reason for not giving 5 on the other 3 are just reasons for because the hotel was just a little farther than the places we wanted to go to. But it was in a great spot! Nice pool and hot tub! Also a great view! Also they have complementary breakfast and a dinner thing.

Another Marriott Hit
Location was outstanding, room amenities were fabulous, room was spacious and clean. Shower included a Speakman shower head which was a nice surprise! Having a full kitchen sure came in handy. Only 1 downside, no movie rentals available, they did not have a movie rental system in place? They did have free WiFi and a great managers special 5-7:30pm Mon-Thur, and a great breakfast spread each day! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is at the heart of the city and is close to everything! We took the train from the airport directly to the hotel, dropping us 2 blocks form the hotel. No Taxi, no rental car, no $55 a day overnight parking. Its next door to many night clubs open until 5am, sports bars open to 5am . The Hotel is on the corner of Hubbard Street......a night life mecca!

First Time in Chi-town
We were able to check in early which helped us make the most of our day. Check in and check out was super fast and the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Cleaning ladies greeted us in the hallways, the breakfast lady was singing and I even scored some free personal toiletries at the front desk after forgetting to pack them. Everything was super clean and the breakfast buffet exceded expectations. There was a huge variety and the staff kept everything hot and stocked full. (The only thing I'd suggest is including more fresh fruit at the buffet and a fan in the bathrooms.) Thanks for a wonderful stay! I'll definitely be back!

10th Reunion with the Girls
We found this to be a wonderful hotel to stay at! The location for Chicago shopping was excellent! The staff was very accomodating, informative and friendly! The breakfast was very tasty; a great selection! We will definitely return!

Nice Hotel
Good location...average amenities...good staff. About the standard for hotels in downtown Chicago. I have stayed at nicer hotels and at worse hotels.
