- The Talbott's Executive Rooms offer all of the brilliance of our Deluxe Room only on a grander scale. Approximately 110 square feet larger, our stately Executive Room offers a luxurious atmosphere. Executive Rooms offer upscale Aveda Bath and Spa products in the lavish and spacious marble bath with two separate sinks, deep-soaker tub, and separate shower. - Multimillion-dollar renovation recently completed. Guest rooms feature new carpeting, custom-designed furniture and draperies, and a new bedding package. We even supply umbrellas for those "April" showers. Comfortable, friendly, and great location
The hotel and our room was very nice. The staff are very nice and accommodating. We found the location to be perfect when touring the city and shopping. Valet was great as was the room service. The concierge secured our party a dinner reservation to a great restaurant 45 minutes prior to dinner time with no problem. The hotel combined with their great staff, accommodations, and locations makes for a strong value- 5 stars.

First visit to Chicago
We visited Chicago over the weekend to attend a Cubs game. Location was perfect for day explorations and night activities.(There were shops galore, restaurants in abundance and Lake Michigan just blocks away!)The hotel was perfect if looking for a small, quaint, traditional, elegant accomodation. The room was clean, spacious and maintained the charm of the hotel. The staff was helpful in guiding us to local eating spots, and directing us to the train stop just a few blocks away. Can't wait to revisit!

Magnificent mile experience
Great location but limited amenities due to size. Food was average but bartenders were excellent. We had a parlor room and it was not a good floor plan. Television is integrated with computer and neither worked well as a result.

Wonderful family getaway
We stayed at the hotel for a week and we had a great time. Everything was perfect, the staff was very nice, the room was perfect and the restaurant was good. Our 14 month old daughter really enjoyed walking around the hotel.

Why stay anywhere else?
What more could you ask for? All of the amenities that you would expect at a hotel for 3 times the price. Nice quiet street. Beautiful room with fantastic bath products,a really big spa tub and a robe. Good coffee in the room too.

VERY COMFORTABLE!
Only spent one night here, but a very comfy/cozy night it was. The most comfortable bed and pillows and linens we have ever experienced in a hotel. Only wished we had been given a room with a view... unless you call an alley a view. Pricey stay, but very nice.

Weekend in Chicago
The Talbott was a nice place to stay. They treated us well. Reasonable walking distance to everything. Their staff was courteous and very helpful. The only problem we had the bed was not very comfortable.

I stay here every time I visit Chicago
This hotel is never fails to live up to a high standard. After trying many of the downtown hotels, I now stay here every time I visit the city. The price is reasonable and the rooms are well done. The in room entertainment system is well designed, using a Mac Mini as the hub. The system even allows you to record TV to watch later, a feature I love when I am in town for business. The staff are friendly and the attached restaurant is quite nice.

The staff make this place
The staff were nothing short of amazing, friendly, helpful, all seemed to be in a good mood and very friendly (I know, I said that already) The ONLY drawback was the absence of a lobby suitable to just relax in and people watch. But the room was perfect (even with a bad view) Friday night at the hotel bar we were treated to two loud, intoxicated and vulgar women that the staff should have taken care of before other patrons had to complain. It's a little pricey but we'd definitely consider staying there again.
