Inexpensive and Comfortable

We needed a place to crash Christmas night, and that was all we needed. Somewhere clean, quiet and comfortable to lay our heads. And that's exactly what we got. Room was clean, beds weren't out of this world comfortable, but we all slept fine. And the rate was fantastic.
Hotel is in a good location with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was not fancy, but clean and a great value. I'm satisfied and would definitely stay there again.

Cheap over-night rest stop

I only wanted an inexpensive sleep-over while on the road. The first room I checked into had a crying baby next door and the front desk found me a quiet room. The wi-fi worked great. I slept well. Bkft was fine...nothing special but I got my bagel, juice and coffee. I just didn't like the somewhat vagrant looking families that were renters, although I had no problems whatsoever. The room was clean and even updated. The bed was comfy. It was a good value for me...although if you're a 3-4* person you might not be happy here.

We had a second floor room in a three story hotel. Not a problem usually. BUT I felt like I was in a cheaply built apartment complex as I could hear the people in the room above us walking around--or should I say STOMPING around? They were just walking, not making any unuusal movements but the cheap building materials became evident. Frutrating when when you're trying to sleep. It seems that the newer a hotel is, the more noise that bleeds from room to room.

Our room was a very spacious suite.
Kitchen was well equipped as suites go.

The concierge was very helpful and called to check and make sure the room was ok. The TV's are big, the fitness room is well equipped. I didn't try out the pool but it looked nice and goes up to 5ft. They have free coffee and tea in the lobby as well as a microwave in case you have any snacks that need heating.

Stopped here on our way back home from MN. Hotel is close to everything, room was very clean and breakfast was good. Pool was pretty small but the kids didn't seem to mind.

Spacious and comfortable room with two queen beds. Nice flatscreen TV. Nice bathroom with real tile on shower walls. Bedding was very comfortable with multiple pillow choices labeled soft and firm. Quiet -- no noise from outside the room. Effective climate control. There were a lot of noisy children in the pool, but no big deal.

We spent one night on our way from Michigan to Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Front desk was friendly and informative. They recommended a tasty Japanese restaurant. We plan to be there again.

We had a king sized bed room, very spacious, with a good work space and a comfortable couch. We were greeted in a friendly manner by the front desk staff. The waitress at both dinner and breakfast were friendly and accomodating. The pool is a bit small, but big enough to do laps, especially since I had it to myself. Good exercise equipment; comfortable hot tub. Like many other modern or updated hotels, this one had a comforter on the bed, rather than a couple of blankets, so it was all or nothing over us as we slept; we prefer being able to layer. We thinik most people must prefer the comforters, as that seems to be the trend.

My husband and I were visiting our beautiful, talented, and intelligent granddaughter. She spent several days with us at the hotel. The pool was perfect for us to enjoy eachother's company. Also, we had several friends visit us from Chicago and the staff was very accommadating to our guests. The location was excellent...near golf, shopping, and restaurants.

Older facility but very well maintained and very clean.A nice change from newer motels that all look alike.Unique upper level sleeping.Lower also an option with pull out sofa sleeper and fireplace! Upper and lower bathrooms also nice along with 2 tv's.Nice relaxing grounds to walk along river.Cab ride to Coronado Theater downtown only 8 bucks(speede cab).Very easy to find straight off I90 East riverside exit.Where in town for Cheech and Chong Live!!! Excellent restaurant especially Sunday brunch!You wont need to eat again all day cause its all good.

The motel was very well maintained and the room was large and comfortable. The location isn't the best but the view over the Rock River was inviting. The breakfasts were excellent and I would stay there again. A variety of restaurants were close to the motel.

I came as a late check in (11 pm) for business. I didn't appreciate having to return to my car to put a parking pass on the dash. It's Rockford IL, not NYC and there was more than enough parking! So that left a bad taste in my mouth. The room was small and had the smallest double bed I've ever seen. And there was only a light blanket, no comforter. I won't be returning. There are too many other options at that exit.

The hotel and stay itself were good and we would stay again, except for problems after we left. We got about 4 hrs away, my husband discovered he left his phone. When I called his number, the person idenified herself as working at the Comfort Inn. She said she would ship the phone to us, I gave her all the info. Over a week later after talking to 2 other people, one being a manager. We are told they never found our phone. I asked the manager to explain how I knew exactly where it was and the person who answered it as being at the Comfort Inn if it was not found there??? She had no answer. They haven't even tried to settle anything and haven't called back. I just joined their club. Guess it's one I may not use.

I like that it has a kitchen and dishes to cook if you want to. It was pet friendly which is important for me, although they were gonna charge me an extra fee, but end up waiving it. The room I booked said pet friendly. The rooms could use some updating and repairs.

The rooms are essentially studio apartments. They have a kitchenette with full size refrigerator, two burner stove, microwave, cups and plates, silverware, coffee pot, etc.
Stays of less than a week do not get maid service, you have to haul the trash and change out the linen yourself. For the money you save, this is a fair trade.
The bed was OK, the pillows a little flat; bring your own. Shower was OK.
Being able to buy groceries locally and cook in the room saves lots of $$$ and time.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was a little chilly. The hot tub wasn't working. The resturant next door, there was no one other than the staff there. The food was very good though.
I might stay there again, but I would go there to eat.

Enjoyed my trip -- I also booked the airline separately thru Cheaptickets too
hotel was very inexpensive - so it worked well for the purpose - very basic, clean and quite -- nice rest - friendly staff - nice pool for exercise

This hotel does not represent the Quallity Inn brand very well. Public area are not clean and very worn. Carpet in elevator was replusive. TV in room was barely functional and only two bath towels which were quite worn. PM breakfast was promoted as "healthy" but cereals were only for kids. Pretty sad offering.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Loved all the amenities and the size of the rooms. It is not the fanciest of hotels, but it definitely provides one of the best values you will find in any hotel.

Bed clothing old and torn. Did have wifi for computer that worked well. Quiet. broken tile in bath. Best thing about breakfast wass a box of rice Krispies. Had only regular coffee - no decaf.

Rooms are spacious but could use upgrade to KING beds and wireless internet. A modest open buffet breakfast would make this location very attractive to me. Meanwhile I will search other alternatives nearby for the items listed above. This area has become very competitive with several new hotels.

We were in Rockford for a funeral and chose this hotel because of high ratings on several travel websites. Other family members were at a nearby hotel that was a bit cheaper but after the first night they switched to the Fairfield Inn and Suites. We had a king suite and our room was spotless and the bathroom just sparkled. Funky decor was fresh and modern! The breakfast in the morning had a nice selection of hot and cold items and was kept stocked. Noise from the nearby highway was not an issue. Nice hot tub and pool, though rather small. My husband used the exercise room and said it was fine. Convenient location, close to many restaurants and attractions.

Okay for the price paid for.

Since it was way much cheaper, I chose to stay here so that we may go to the indoor waterpark, Coco Key, which was conveniently across the street from Days Inn. For the price paid for, it was an average hotel. We stayed 2 nights, and we rented two rooms for less than $200. A couple of issues I had was there weren't any microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. We had to heat our food in the breakfast area by the front desk, and we really couldn't keep any food left overnight. When we did have food leftover, it would stink up the whole room due to the fact there aren't any refrigerators to store them in. It's a very small place, so there isn't any pools neither. However, the plus sides are that there is a complimentary breakfast every morning that served cereal, bagels, muffins, plenty of juices and milk; and that the front desk staff was friendly and helpful when needed. I might stay here again, if ever in the area, but perhaps consider another hotel that's a bit pricier for more accommodations.

other then the fighting couple down the hall that finally did leave the room was clean but small, easy access to a walmart and a Cracker Barrel was just down the street , reasonalble prices, gas station next door.
