Days Inn Rockford

The staff was very friendly but unfortunately the hotel was flawed. The towels were stained, the bed was like sleeping on rocks, the ceiling was stained and cracked, the air conditioner was convoluted and the entire place smelled as though it was rotting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, a recommendation that I hate to make because the staff really made the place welcoming.

Things were fine. A little trouble with the heat/air system. Nice staff.

While my reservations were acknowledged several weeks earlier and pre-charged on my credit card, we were denied accommodations when we arrived. The charge for the two-night stay had appeared on my charge card statement before we even arrived here. The Days Inn had overbooked and just flat-out turned us away. We were told to pursue our refund with Orbitz ourselves (which we still need to request) -- that Days INN would not arrange for the refund. We encountered another couple going out the front door as we entered the motel who experienced the same sudden reservation cancellation. No contact from Days Inn ahead of arriving. No help from them to find lodging in the area. What an insult! This is the fault of the Days Inn, not Orbitz!

We were close to restautants,movies and the water park. We went to play golf and we were close to the courses we wanted to play. The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was small but we made it work. It was close to busy highways but quiet.

We enjoyed the location of the Days Inn in Rockford Il.The rooms were very clean,the breakfast was good and we got discount tickets to Magic Waters from our hotel. The water park was great!

very clean motel. VERY Friendly front desk staff.. very compfy beds and easy to get to.. I will defenitly stay there again!!!!

We stayed here over Thanksgiving to visit family. Here we had a double bed in a non-smoking room with a full bath. The sink was outside the bathroom, which was a bit different, but didn't bother me. It was clean and fairly quiet. For the price range I was impressed they included the continental breakfast. It was nothing fancy, but I was already getting Thanksgiving feasts when visiting multiple family members. It is further away from most of the hotels on State St., just past the Clock Tower, which was not as bothersome as I thought it might be. I found the decor a little off, but it was clean. A pool would have been nice, but not expected in a hotel of this price range. I have stayed in other places that have not seemed nearly as clean and taken care of as this. I was very comfortable here.

Since it was way much cheaper, I chose to stay here so that we may go to the indoor waterpark, Coco Key, which was conveniently across the street from Days Inn. For the price paid for, it was an average hotel. We stayed 2 nights, and we rented two rooms for less than $200. A couple of issues I had was there weren't any microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. We had to heat our food in the breakfast area by the front desk, and we really couldn't keep any food left overnight. When we did have food leftover, it would stink up the whole room due to the fact there aren't any refrigerators to store them in. It's a very small place, so there isn't any pools neither. However, the plus sides are that there is a complimentary breakfast every morning that served cereal, bagels, muffins, plenty of juices and milk; and that the front desk staff was friendly and helpful when needed. I might stay here again, if ever in the area, but perhaps consider another hotel that's a bit pricier for more accommodations.

other then the fighting couple down the hall that finally did leave the room was clean but small, easy access to a walmart and a Cracker Barrel was just down the street , reasonalble prices, gas station next door.
